Sometimes if I want to treat my DF I will sneak some nice pastries or cream cakes into the house and we will have a nice French breakfast in bed (with instant cappuccino I'm afraid as we don't have a coffee maker!) or a cake with a cup of tea mid afternoon.
I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right

Some things my husband does -

take turns getting up with the kids
    the washing up
    the laundry
    puts the kids to bed
looks after the kids while I go to the pictures/out for a meal on my own or with friends (I love going out alone. I never get any time to myself otherwise.)
plays with the kids/takes them out while I have a bubble bath
    makes me pancakes for breakfast
makes me a hot chocolate with Baileys in
    gives me a massage
lets me drape myself over him when we're watching DVDs without once complaining that I'm a big heavy lump
only picks the 'big' games to watch so I'm not stuck with football for the whole season
never ever cuts his toenails infront of me. :D

    How about:-

    take a clean glass jar
decorate it with glass paint or marker pens
    Fill it with notes (12 = 1 per month, 52 = 1 per week...etc)
Write on each note one thing that you would be prepared to do when she does the lucky dip each week/month

    Foot Rub
    Wash your car
    Massage
    Cook a meal

    you get the drift....

You can make some....ahem....personal :o and some practical ones and they can be repeated so you put more notes in for stuff you like doing and less in for stuff you're not so keen on ;)

A night away in a hotel, doesn't have to be too expensive, but YOU do all the packing and organising, and all the unpacking when you get home, maybe surprise her with it so she doesn't take over the organisation.

It's so nice to get away for a night, but can involve so much organisation sometimes the packer just want to sleep when they get there.

When you get there, pull out the tealight (little stubby) candles and lighter and decorate the bathroom with them, and a bottle of something fizzy - champagne has less calories than other wine or beer. Take your own low cal snacks and have supper in the room.

If it's arranging that's a problem then a nice flowering pot plant.
Or you can get 'ready made' flower arrangements that come in a cellophane 'bubble' of water, just need to stand them in a dish (in case the cellophane leaks!)

    I LOVE this one!

Used to have a boyfriend once who would leave little love letters around the house for me to find! Felt wonderful - especially since he was dyslexic and had to really struggle to write them!

He also used to buy those little cards (like credit cards) with special messages on them - they are only about £1.00 - and I still have them all somewhere - aaahhhhhhh - shame I still don't have him:cry: .

I think you are lovely to think of this! Lots of brownie points to you.

He's happily married too. They're getting it right, that's for sure!
