Treat for wife

A nice treat for me is one of those individual sachet face masks or foot masks - Tesco stock the Montanjeunesse ones (not sure that's the correct spelling!) They're only 99p and the foot one is great cos it's divided in 2 - the first half is to put into some hot water to soak your feet in and the other half is a massage lotion to rub in when feet are dry - you could offer to do that bit for her - very nice and cheap treat! If Life Deals You a Lemon - Make Lemonade!! :j0

You sound like a lovely person!
If it were me I would love any of the following:
A dvd to watch together after boys in bed
2 cinema tickets one for me and a friend while you 'babysit'
a card sent in the post telling me how much you love me
something silly that would make me laugh - i.e. something that reminded me of an in joke we have together.
breakfast in bed
single flower - no arranging issues!!!
jewellery
a massage in front of the tv
please pass this list onto my husband
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

Leave her a romantic note somewhere silly, like in the fridge, or on top of the toilet...0

awwww..... such a nice thing to do!
fill the bathroom with candles, put the cd player in the bathroom (extention lead under the door... you know you've done it before!) and run her a big hot bubble bath.
If you have a cold glass of vino and a choccy bar in the soap dish waiting for her... she'll love you even more!
EDIT: Mr P and I have carpet picnics too... they are lovely! A proper picnic... just in your living room!

this is a great idea - so will add it to the list I'm going to leave strategically placed for hubbie to see it :rotfl:

My OH would probably appreciate a ...........divorce.
Seriously, I find the thing she appreciates more is the thought. Doesn't have to be expensive. The ingredients for a meal can cost £10 but as long as I arrange, prepare and serve and all she has to do is relax means it is worth much, much more
good luck
Bill
ps, but even I draw the line at going to the cinema to see Mamma Mia!!0 -
I love when i get a bar of choccie brought home from newsagents or i get a hot chocolate made with a marshmallow in instead of the usual cup of tea.
and i would really love a hammock for the garden i have gave enough hints but still yet to recive one.
as for small bought treats i love a book, gossip mag or smelly candles,
for things that are free and only cost your time i would have to say shoulder massage and foot rub0 -
Why not make the most of the nice weather we have been having and have a romantic picnic - if you go in the daytime you could take the boys with you (along with a football to keep them entertained!!). If you just want it to be the 2 of you, have an evening picnic in your garden after they have gone to bed! (or if you want to be naughty, have the picnic in the bedroom and tell her she is the pudding!!)
