Treat for wife

Right ladies (and lads too if you have any good ideas!) need to tap the collective inteligence on here.

I'm struggling to find ideas for little token treats for my OH - not for any particular reason just "because".

Now here's the rub - she doesn't like flowers (hassle to arrange etc), isn't vastly into smellies and is on a diet so chocolate is out. We have two small boys so giving her some kind of luxury "treatment" creates more stress than it solves through having to arrange childcare etc. Some of these get done anyway but I'm after other ideas not necessarily ways of making these happen etc.

I'm not talking spending masses here (not because I don't want to spend the money etc) just other equivalents of bringing home the odd bunch of flowers out of the blue now and again to remind her that I love her and that she is valued.

What am I missing?

A romantic meal (diet considered) in after the lil ones have gone to bed
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

Ah, how nice. How about cooking her a nice meal one night after the kids have gone to bed. That would be my idea of a treat especially if all the washing up and clearing up was done as well:rotfl: .

Good idea but I generally do most of the cooking anyway - she's usually done a couple of meals for the boys by the time I get home so cooking again doesn't really appeal and I quite enjoy it!
