  • Hello, I have been lurking here for ages as well so thought I'd best start posting. I'm married, have two children (both lads aged 3 and 5) and one cat.
  • Yet another lurker here. Been hanging around for the best part of 2 years now but only recently was brave enough to post.

I work as a nurse and am married. No children but my elderly mother lives with us, and lets not forget the fussiest cat in the world.

Things have been getting tighter since I had to drop my hours to part time due to a significant back injury and still have a car loan and a bank loan to pay  so have been looking for ways to economise and have been so grateful to this site on many occasions
  • I've been lurking for a while but would love to get more integrated in to the OS board.

Im Gemma (obviously) I'm 25, married and expecting my first baby in November eeek!! We are hoping for me to be a SAHM once the SMP runs out so at the moment we are trying to manage an £84k mortgage and all house bills etc on hubbys meagre £15k salary.... Pleeease someone tell me that it can be done?

Look forward to chatting to you all

I work full time as a manager for a certain catalogue shop. So it's interesting to read that forum. Other than that, I live on my own and enjoy the single life.

If my mother wasn't a technophobe, she would also be a regular. She always tells me what Martin has been saying on GMTV, which I don't see cos I'm out at work.

There is such a wide variety of people on here.

I live with my partner and our 2 and a half year old daughter, we'd like to get married next year (been saying that for 3 years!)

I'm a semi lurker! (is that even a real thing?) I thought I mareswell introduce myself and get stuck in!

I'm 17 and an admin assistant, I live with my parents so all my OS tips get passed onto my parents then stored in my brain for when I move out. We're planning our own veggie garden and we cook mainly WWII inspired meals. This is the way I really want to live the rest of my life. So heres to another 70years!

I work on the night replenishing team for Asda and my hubby has recently been made redundant. We've got 3 grown up kids (1 left at home) and 2 large loveable dogs. I've found some really good advice on the site, and look in every day.
  • I'm a newbie but hope to join in as much as I can.
I live with my husband to be and our daughter who is 2

    Hi All,

I'm 28 and based in Dulwich, South East London. I work in Advertising and have been lurking here for a long time. I live with my soon to be fiance in a rented flat.

We both have debt problems (mine are detailed here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1186523 ) and I have gone the IVA route, whilst she has battled on. We both slip up from time to time, but we're in a position now where we are making real progress and plans for the future.

I look in on this site very regularly, and I can never write anything in brief, as demonstrated.
  • Hello there.

I'm living in south Essex with my new wife and 2 kittens Sox and Little Muff. I'm 28 and a Software Tester for a Stockbrokers.

Neither of us have debt other than student loans and of course our ridiculous 95% mortgage which has to be remortgaged in June. Oh god, help me, please help!
Current mortgage remaining £167,200 as at 3rd March 09:eek:
