    Hi everyone

Today must be the day for newbies, I'm another one. I also have been lurking and just decided to join in.

I think I must have been brought up to be an Old Styler, I have been reading the threads on this board for a while and have found it very interesting. To find like minded people is really great, some of the tips and ideas are amazing.Although I do some of them I am still willing to learn new ones.

I have been married 32 years, have 2 grown up sons, 2 daughters in law and a beautiful granddaughter who is nearly 3 years old. I have spent all my married life budgeting, cooking from scratch and trying to do things cheaper. I thought that when we got older money would be easier, it is to some extent, no debts or mortgage. But now we are thinking about when my hubby retires and living on half our monthly income. Scary!! So it's time to pull our belts in fasten down the shopping trolley and get organized.

Our budget for the month is £200. We are on target for July at the moment, but it is early days..

With so many new friends to call on for help I'm sure it will be easier than going it alone.
