Tesco misprices thread 8 - please only post misprices here

Yes, you should pursue this - you have overpaid by £4. DTD is £8.
You should point to their own wording on the blue sign at customer service - it is the 3rd sentence from the bottom, starting with the words 'In the unlikely event that things don't add up.........'
You could Freephone 0800-505555 tmorrow, but better to go back to the store with your receipt which will show the part-refund, therefore proof of the overcharge.
You need not 'argue' with whoever it is - just quietly show the place, the item.
HO are unlikely to give you 400 points - you did not spend £400 and you already have the points for the overcharge.
I'd just keep it simple with HO - 'I received a refund yesterday but not for DOUBLE the difference.'
They can track your rec. no/txn.
cs lady removed sel so no proof anymore unfortunately. she agreed that i had been overcharged but her point was that the barcodes didn't match so the sel wasn't the correct one. i'd understand this if the sel said brusselsprouts or something clearly not vaguely related but the description matched here! thank you for pointing out that by refunding me the 4 pounds, she is effectively agreeing that i was overcharged and by agreeing that she has to give me dtd according to their wording.
P.S i know i didn;t spend 400 pounds...boy would that have been an overcharge...imagine the dtd on that  , however, figured that 400 points is worth 4 pound to spend instore and that is what they owe me. might try the old "why should i have to drive back to the store wasting my petrol when i've already had to waste my time and money phoning you because your own csstaff don't understand the company's dtd policy" routine when i call!Make £2012 in 2012 member #88

Ha ha, I know that and you know that but I wouldn't be telling customer services that I'm trying to get 400 points to use for 16 pounds worth of deals
...I'll let them believe that i clearly just want it to reimburse me for my overcharge...I'll let you know how I get on.Make £2012 in 2012 member #88

Yesterday i bought a tesco mobile pay as you go phone. It was priced as £99.97 with a yellow label next to it with £74.97 if you spend £25 in store! As i spent quite a lot yesterday (being christmas week) i was well over the £25 but noticed after i had paid that i had been charged the full £99.97! Went to customer services who said they would refund me the £25, i pointed out that the notice behind the till said DTD if overcharged! After lots of phonecalls & asking a few other members of staff she said i could only have the £25. I asked to see the manager who also refused to give me DTD claiming i hadn't been overcharged!! I argued for quite a while saying how can i not have been overcharged when I clearly had! She still refused & would only give me back the £25! When i got home i phoned Tesco & was told DTD does not apply to special offers! As this is not written up anywhere should i pursue this??????
(also the staff in tesco did not seem to know anything about DTD, one even asked me where it was written!!)2012 wins: American Anthem tickets, Illamasqua lipstick & mascara, Wireless tickets, Bakin boys cupcakes, Hotel Chocolat, Trip to LA & £500 spending money, cinema tickets, goodwood tickets, cocktail night at waldorf hotel, parmesan, Flip goody bag & case Relentless drink, Coke T-shirt, Gaymers cider, Bruce Lee T-shirt, DVD & poster:j0 -

I bought my hubby a coat today reduced from £35 to £15. When I got to the checkout I was charged full price. Went to customer services and asked to be refunded double the difference as per policy. Got £40 back, so in essence they paid me to take a gorgeous coat for my hubbys Christmas present! :rotfl:
If anyone else is interested, I can't find a picture of the actual coat but it similar to this Tesco one only black with no hood.
