This is further to the previous post about the misprice on Organic Mushrooms.
The 2 for £1.50 offer on packs of Organic Mushrooms has rolled on. The shelf barker just says Organic Mushrooms, 150g / 200g, 2 for £1.50, without specifying varieties. However, while the 200g packs of Organic Chestnut Mushrooms were previously included in the offer, they are not any more. Therefore they go through at the full price of £1.19 each with no multibuy deduction if you buy 2 packs. This means an overcharge of 88p, DTD of £1.76 and a net price of 62p for 2 packs.

hi everyone
just been back from tesco, and thought ill share this with you fellows.
Apologies if been posted before.
Anyway there are Gillette Fusion(Gillette champions-Trial pack) on offer at the moment. In the pack there is one razor with 2 blades, and a pack of blade cartridges which has 4 in them.
In some stores they are priced at £7.72 which is the original price, and in some stores they are on offer at half price £3.86 which in itself is a good deal.
Any how the store which i bought them from were advertised at £7.72,if you take them to the self checkout they come up as £7.72. If you take them to a manned checkout they scan at an unbelievable £0.36p.(lovely misprice)
I only bought 9 packs as they will now last me for a couple of years at least.
Hope this helps but i think youre gonna have to be quick as i see them being removed from shelfs.
Good luck0 -

There are loads of these on the shelves at my local Tesco (Amersham), but on all checkouts, self scan, scanner in shop and manned checkouts they are still £7.72.0 -
Going through all scanners at £3.65 here in Wales.0

If the SEL is for a Phillips 430 Wotnot £34.95 and on the shelf is a Phillips 540 Wotnot for £49.99 and you get charged £49.99, then Tesco has not overcharged you for the 540 model. This is because they have not advertised the price of the 540, therefore impossible for you to be overcharged. Misleading maybe but human error can opccur and sometimes people take the SEL for products as they have no paper and pen to make a note of product details.
Tesco do not have to offer the 540 at the 430 price so take the offer with a smile, but definately not DTD.
LOL. The above piece of advice is hilarious. Human error my foot. Isn't locating human errors the whole point of this forum? I don't see how this is any different to finding a sel that is out of date and then taking it to customer service for a DTD! Anyway, have given Tesco a call, explained the whole scenario to them. The lady asked me to give her my receipt details at the bottom of the receipt. She told me she would run it by her manager, and give me a call back. The lady called and apologised profusely. Told me that they should have checked the product was corresponding to the sel. Cos they had made the mistake, I should have been given DTD. The chap that gave me the reduction in the price had done it wrong, and is gonna get some more training. Told me he probably got flustered. I explained the whole scenario again and told her the sel was supposedly for something else. I was told not to worry about that as it was not my problem, and told to pop in sometime this week for my DTD. Hurrah! In the end, I have ended up paying just £20 for a £50 product when I get my DTD.0 -

The previous post you refer to is correct. You shouldn't even get the dearer item at the cheaper item's price let alone DTD. Why the CS offered the difference back is confusing enough but how a call to Tesco results in apologies and a DTD offer just shows what idiots they are employing.
If you were correct then I suggest you visit as many shops as you can that sell similar models of the same items at different prices, with a friend, neighbour or partner.
Thinking you'd like a Widget pick up the expensive £80 XYZ1101 and put it in your trolley, take it for a ride around the supermarket, then change your mind. Take it back to the Widget aisle and put it back on the shelf above the £40 XYZ1011 SEL.
Your "colleague" comes along a little later and picks up the £80 XYZ1101 from above the SEL for the £40 XYZ1011
After paying for it they discover the overcharge and get a refund of the difference because of where it was situated with regards to a cheaper price label.
So that's half price items in any shop.
In Tesco they'd be free.
Just to be sure that there is a definite SEL mismatch and human error to exploit perhaps you should decide to buy Widgets for all the family and put 10 or 20 in the trolley before changing your mind and returning them to the wrong shelf.
Then they wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Would they ?

The previous post you refer to is correct.
Thanks for that quoia. Nice to see someone else knows what they are talking about... :jAnyway, picked up a small DTD by chance today.
Bread is so expensive nowadays, so always buy a deal when a deal is on. Tesco own brand standard white (medium/thick) priced at 75p per loaf, 3 for £1.50 (or 3 for 2 in other words). Went through and in the multibuy section it came up 3 for £1.80. Went to CS, they confirmed overcharge 60p back, so 3 loaves of 75p bread for £1.20 ~ 40p a loaf. And it tastes fine.I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

Spotted on OOD SEL in local Tesco's last night.....
32" Philips LCD TV, £350 down to £270 (I think), so with DD that would make it only £190 !!!
Don't need a new TV, and haven't got a spare £190, so I didn't take advantage of Tesco's generosity !!!0 -

Be careful with OOD SELs on expensive electronics - often expired SEL will simply be superceded by an even lower offer price.
This is especially true with hdtv's, as their prices have been dropping dramatically in the last 6 months, thanks to a price war between the major highstreet electronics retailers.0
