:naughty: Which bit of this is difficult to understand?

Lighten up ednotdave your last two posts have been moaning about people slightly deviating from the post subject. That is bound to happen with a forum style board or people may as well just send in lists with no conversation or banter and would that not be very boring?

With the time spent questioning each posts compliance you could find a misprice and help us all out!!! lol
  • just got weight watchers chicken tikka ready meal, on offer at 99p went thru the til at £1.63.

I know this is not a misprice as such. I went to buy an electrical product with a SEL directly behind it that said £34.95 and got charged £49.99. I bounded over to CS and explained. The CS person went to have a look, 10 minutes later he came back and said to me, the SEL is not for the product you purchased, but I can reduce the price for you so it costs you £34.95. Would I still be eligible to throw up a fuss and say I want DTD? At the end of the day, it's not my fault the SEL was not for the correct product. The item I purchased did not have a corresponding SEL anywhere on the shelf as I went to check up on it later. Should I call the CLUBCARD helpline and explain what happened tomorrow or will that be too late? Thanks in advance.

If it were me I'd take what's been given,as much as I detest Tescos they done something they didn't have to ,charge you less,if you reguarly shop there I'd definatley leave as is,not worth upsetting them over an accident.

It would be a help if you let us know some details ie what item, where from, because although you may not of got dtd other users may be able too and give you proper advice. By the way if you think it is going to be a dtd never use your clubcard as this may be a way of identifying you in the future
  • Not a biggie, but in my local Tesco, SEL states "Kerrygold butter, £1 each or two for £1.50". Charged at checkout two for £1.60. Only 20p DTD for every two packs, but where else can you get butter for 70p nowdays?
  • I bought 'Bassett's children's vitmains x 45' in Tesco on Saturday, priced at 55p, I bought 2 packets (as they're almost £4 each in boots!) they scanned through at £3.29 each so I got DTD and received £10.96 back in cash!!
    Top Cash Back: £882
    Boots Card: £160

I e-mailed them on Thursday and just had a comfirmation reply - think i'll need to phone them on Monday if i don't hear back over the weekend
think its worth a try for 26 bags of catfood for 15p a bag!!!
    will let you know

No reply from my e-mail so i rang Mr Tesco and could not get them to agree to honour the price advertised
Tesco have agreed to collect the catfood rather than me having to return it myself which is good.
So think mis-price refunds don't work with an online order very sadly:( still it was worth a try.
