  • just went into my local and saw the Technika MC-407dab DAB at 49.97, i thought was good price, but noticed another sel next to do it saying 39.97 (ran out yesterday) got charged the 49.97 so £20 back .
    A nice DAB radio for £29.97 :T :T

Snap. Spotted this in the Irlam tesco extra, but for something I don't realy want or need, the DTD wasn't good enough to bother.

Good that you've confirmed it though, as I didn't want to post it without verification.

I was dismayed to find that Tesco have *still* got the pricing of their Linksys wireless-n routers messed up.
The problem is - they've got stocks of this product: WRT160 but the product has never been entered into their central database! (presumably it has been confused as being the same as this product: WAG160 which does exist in their database.)

Several weeks ago I even asked a CS in electicals to scan one, and tell me the price - she was rather flumuxed when the system didn't recognise the barcode - and promptly pulled them all off the shelves.
I guess someone on the next shift rotation must have put them back out again :sigh:

Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to exploit this clerical error  (well.... I suppose if I was so inclined, I could steal them, and if caught claim that it can't be stealing because Tesco don't sell the product :rotfl: )

Thank you Nick this prompted my first DD!!!!:j .

I hold my head in shame though as there were at least 10 bottles behind the shelf edge label of £14 but I bottled it (pardon the pun)!! I picked up three
    ..............
Just wish I picked up all the bottles as I know many of you guys would have- nevermind perhaps next time!!

But if they didn't remove the ood sel, you still can.
Go back in today and see if you can get the other 7 bottles on DTD
This is one of Tescos major failings, not only do they not remove ood sels, they leave them up even after they have had to pay out because of it. In bigger stores they may even remove the one you have used to get your DTD, but the chances are there may be another one on the end of the aisle with old sel.
Good luck, and I will chack out the Champers section when I go shopping later, I could do with a pick-me-up.;)

Saw this online and ordered last night - when it came today was charged the correct price but didn't realise till the driver had gone - so plan to return

is there anyway of me trying to get it for the online advertised price via customer services or wll they only honour shelf mis-prices?
    thanks CHI

My first DTD for a while. Just browsing the bargain section of the DVD's and spotted American Gangster with a £3 sticker. I'd seen this a couple of days earlier with a £7 sticker so I thought I'd have it.

Went through for £7. Took it to CS and she tried to fob me off with £4 refund. Told her it was double the difference and she said that it was only double the difference if the item was double scanned(?)

Stood my ground and even pointed it out to her on the CS board behind her and she still refused. I asked her to get a supervisor over who explained to her that she was doing it all wrong and it was in fact £8 she should be giving to me. The look on her face wit a big queue forming behind me was priceless!!!

One brand new DVD for my collection and a £1 for the trouble.:rotfl:

Oniline customer services are pretty good they should honour the price you ordered at although in their t&cs they don't have to. They have always honoured them with me in the past without a fuss.
