    Re: Free Chicken

This was the 800g frozen chicken breast with stuffing, has a cardboard sleeve around it.

Was trying to work out in my head how much DTD was coming my way when I was handed the full amount back, obviously I didn't query why as I was quids in

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I am sure this is already posted but I am sitting here drinking San Miguel lager after todays shop.

Pack of 4 had a SEL buy 2 for £3. They were £3.48 per pack.

    Receipt shows 4 packs X £3.48 = £13.92
    multibuy saving £7.92

    So I paid £6 for 4 case of 4 bottles =16 bottles = 37.5p a bottle

No. The error was by the cashier.

Depends on the CSA and store though - I had a free crate of cider on a double scan in August  so some of them do play fair.

I think they are supposed to be for the large bottle of San Miguel as the offer applies to large bottles of Cobra too. 2 Packs of 4 x 330ml San Miguel for £3 so my 32 Bottles cost me £12!!! Glug Glug Glug
  • They have finally fixed the pricing error on the San Miguel, so it is now the 660ml bottles that are 2 for £3.00 and the packs of 4 x 330ml bottles are just showing as £3.48 each.

This means that if you find a shelf edge label advertising 4 x 330ml bottles at 2 for £3.00 then you will get charged £6.96 for each pair of packs you buy and thus be overcharged by £3.96. A double the difference refund of £7.92 would mean a net profit of 96p for each 8 bottles purchased.
