I know what you mean. I took back to the electrical and received refund from electrical without having to show my face at the customer service and the lady phoned for authorisation form an annoyed manager who I did not even have to meet.
The lady actually commented that DTD was saving the company in comparison to R&R as the difference is usually only pence so not as costly as giving away item under R&R policy. However she did state that the big differences like these were annoying the manager as he instructed his staff to make sure no out of date SEL.
Thanks again and happy grilling!!0 -

God forbid they should actually get the price right, how much would that save them, the dumping of r&r was a public admission by Tesco that they have little or no pricing integrity.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Jane Lackford you are a star:T . I visted extra store today and to my surprise the SEL for the Grill was £29.97 as you stated. Purchased two at £59.97 and got ( after needing manager approval over the phone) £120 DTD.
So have two Grills - not golden DTD though as till receipt marked. The lady asked if I was a professional? I asked what she ment and she said some people come in looking for misprices- really I said that is terrible not me just wanted two grills for mother and partner!! She said in that case well done you have two free grills. She said manager not happy but not her problem as she does not do the SELs just works on the till!!
Thanks again a very worth while trip

Twinings Classics Teabags, packs of 50 on a 2 for £2.00 offer.
I bought a pack of Assam (£1.93) and a pack of Traditional Afternoon (£1.99), but the till only deducted £1.42, meaning I was overcharged by 50p.
Obviously I don't know if it is only this combination that results in an overcharge or how long they will take to fix it.

I was also overcharged on this the other day - by 50p.0 -

They have now fixed the Twinings misprice by putting the price up. In my local store, they've changed all of the labels to 2 for £2.50. Obviously any store that is displaying the 2 for £2 labels will be overcharging. ** They seem to have fixed this now, as my local store has put the 2 for £2.00 SELs back up.
