Bought today New Bright Radio controlled "Jeep Wrangler Rubicon" (model No. 61580) - mis-priced at £3.75. I think the full price should be around £40. Comes with all batteries and charger - suitable for ages 8+. I couldn't resist buying 2 of these; one as a present.

    Hiya

Ive not been on here before, would just like to mention I paid 97p for a Finish Dishwasher cleaner 2 weeks ago and noticed they are now £2.97, so as no offer was mentioned I imagine this was a misprice.

  • This morning I noticed several of the premium bottled beers still had their yellow label on the shelf stating "3 for £4" but with the expiry date as 9.9.08 (yesterday). I didn't buy any, but you might be lucky and find that they go through the till at full price, so you could claim a DTD on them.

Out of date 09/09/08 Sel (yesterday)...£22.94

    Charged full price £44.97

    DtD of £44.98

They paid me 1p to take them away

Thanks to kronen for the text, mentioning the possibility of a DtD on this and other hair electricals....due to offers ending yesterday...You're a star!!!

In this store, none of the "out of date" sels had been removed from any of the hair electricals.......

And my receipt wasnt marked, so a nice £44.98 "Golden"
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Spotted out of date SEL for Tesco Digital Scales. SEL stated £10 offer with original price £20.Picked up two and was charged £40. Popped across to customer service and followed the supervisor to the SEL. Supervisor stated I had been overcharged and stated I was entitled to £20 back. I pointed at the "Our Promise" board and asked for double the diffence. A very annoyed supervisor gave me £40 back and I walked away with two very nice digital scales for nowt ( im keeping one but not sure what to do with the other one though- but I suppose it was free):j

Also got my first DD at a Tesco Express and was easier than i thought. I purchased some wine that had £1.50 off and was charged the normal price. I popped back in and without asking for DD was given £3.00 back straight away making the wine very cheap in deed.

My receipt on above DD was not marked either but dont the staff take down the SEL when the mistake is realised making it difficult to do again???

They should do but this is not always the case. However if you try it again at the same store you will be asking for a raised profile which you don't want. Unmarked receipt = full refund when taking back, ideally to another store.

no idea what "dtd" or "golden" or marking receipts means!!! lol

Anyway was in Tesco, Lincs, today and noticed treacle/lemon puddings at £1.24 (half price). However, there was a second sign stating BOGOF.

    We were charged £1.24 twice.

When we went to custome sevices we kept the 2 x puds, got £2.48 refunded which she wrote on the receipt.

By "Golden", he means he can take the product back to the store for a full refund, as they have not marked the receipt.

    For example:

You buy an Xbox 360...SEL says £100. You're charged £200...you get £200 back double the difference of the overcharge. They don't mark the receipt. You are then able to take the 360 back to the store a few days later (or to another store) and get a £200 refund for returning the 360 as an unwanted item. You pocket the extra £200 and Tesco keeps the 360.
