Hate to be negative on such a positive thread but I'm afraid the flying lanterns have had some very negative reports. Fine if you are going to use them on a beach perhaps - or in the middle of a field but in gardens close to property, vehicles etc they have caused damage when been blown on a breeze and the "fuel" splashed on paintwork etc. Have also actually called fire as evidenced by us locally when one landed on dry undergrowth and set fire to hedging.
So only use with great care.Be nice to each other
