    Best bargains found today:

Decent quality decorated christmas stockings which light up.

2 litre hot water bottle (I bought two - much better than heat packs!)

Lovely reindeer metal ornaments which stand, so perfect for the mantlepiece/windowsills (I bought three for the mantle).

    Decent quality, thick boys/girls belts.

Perhaps not the deal of the year, lol, but still a great price for a 2 litre hot water bottle!

My old two burst last winter after many years of fairly heavy use, so I was very happy to find these today!

My local store has loads of brand baby items ie Tommee Tippee bowls and pots, Cow and Gate food, Hipp porridge etc.
Forgot to mention the Christmas CD's I picked up, one childrens one and one classic one with Frank Sinatra etc. They also had Little Britain CD and The boy in the dress book and CD.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper I've been Money Tipped!
My local had a couple of different Poirot DVD's. As well as three different films by a director called Dario Argento. Thrillers that are based in italy (subtitled) all made in the 1970's they are a little gory in places they are Profondo Rosso (deep red), the Bird with the Crystal Plumage and Cat'o'Nine tails.

A couple of audio tapes one was the Turkish Gambit by Boris Akunin. As well as John Grisham's "The king of Torts" and Michael Connelly "The Closers" read by David Soul. Not listened to as have been put it away for christmas presents.

Also saw cd's of Yes Minster and the Navy Lark.

    Think that is about it.

    Yours

    Calley
