Anyone seen any cheap mini hot water bottle covers. I think Poundland usually do a twin pack of the furry ones with pom poms, but I want a knitted one if possible.
  • you wouldn't think this was that great of a deal but go to boots etc and a mini hot water bottle is at least £7! Rip off for what is essentially a moulded bit of rubber.

If anyone is thinking of making hampers the mini ones would go well with a hot water bottle case, mug, hot chocolate/coffee, fluffy slipper socks etc
  • Go to Primark for fluffy slipper socks !

My local had a couple of different Poirot DVD's. As well as three different films by a director called Dario Argento. Thrillers that are based in italy (subtitled) all made in the 1970's they are a little gory in places they are Profondo Rosso (deep red), the Bird with the Crystal Plumage and Cat'o'Nine tails.

A couple of audio tapes one was the Turkish Gambit by Boris Akunin. As well as John Grisham's "The king of Torts" and Michael Connelly "The Closers" read by David Soul. Not listened to as have been put it away for christmas presents.

Also saw cd's of Yes Minster and the Navy Lark.

    Think that is about it.
