Thanks for the info Wizzbang. Currently going through an annoying case of fleas with my cat, she's not infested in them but its enough to be a nuisance. Been using flea collars from home bargains that kept most of them at bay. Tried a bob martin one thinking they would be more effective and it attracted the fleas!! She had loads of them around her neck and the collar after using it. Costing me a ton of money using various things so may have to speak to the vet for a recommendation as its annoying the hell out of me now!!

You need to kill them, an infestation is an infestation no matter what the size. You will have the eggs in your carpets and soft furnishings. You need to wash anything with loose covers at 60 to kill them. Hoover the house daily for 2 weeks and spray with Acclaim household flea spray (another product recommended by my vet). You also need to treat the cat with something effective, as outlined above. I had this problem in 2014 - heat doesn't seem to help! You could also try a flea comb- if they have them around the neck you have a problem!!!

I think it depends on what stock the store has in, if they have non of the older items left then they cant put them out on sale, so it all depends on how quickly your local stores sell out of things I think

    Sorry for going off topic.
BizKiTRoAcH, I took in two dogs last Sunday and they had fleas. I bought some Bob Martin Clear Flea tablets for cats and small dogs and I'm so impressed. All fleas gone within 24 hours. I did also treat their bedding and the carpets etc. with a spray even though we'd had them less than 24 hours and I've not seen anything since. I bought mine from wilkinsons for £4. hth. x

From Argyle Street Poundland last night - White Glo Diamond White Toothpaste (with free smart plaque seeker tablet) 150g/100ml and 2pk of Disney Baby Socks 0-4 months, (I realise they're Xmas-themed but the recipient will have had a Xmas baby :)) which was 50p.

The 50p sections seem to be quite random in stores but there's a lot of gardening stuff in nearly all of them, where I live.

The toothpaste is £4.99 at Superdrug https://www.superdrug.com/Toiletries/Dental/Whitening-Toothpaste/White-Glo-Diamond-White-Plus-Plaque-Seeker-150g/p/681900

It's even on poundshop.com (though their P&P has went up to £4.95 now, which puts me off these days) https://www.poundshop.com/white-glo-diamond-white-plaque-seeker-toothpaste-150ml

If the comment's aimed at me - I always do resize before I upload and check - I've had problems with photos fitting since the website makeover. Moaned about it back then - can see it fine on the old version of the website, not fitting on the new (ish) MSE.

I was told it would be fixed and it seemed okay for a while, not sure what's going on.

Edit: On a PC/22" monitor: Mozilla has my pictures displayed correctly with the new website, also fine on the old MSE.

IE and the new MSE seems oversized. IE and the old MSE displays correctly.

Tried on a tablet and it's the same.
