I visited the Thurrock retail park branch this afternoon as I was passing through. Didn't have a good look around but it seemed to have a good range of merchandise. Bought what I needed (vacuum storage bags) and some stuff I didn't - namely Cadburys Pebbles (140g bags, exp 09/14) and Wonga Millionaire's Shortbread, 100g I think. Both were on a 2 for £1 offer.

I went in specifically for some vacuum storage bags and they didn't have any. Came out with a microfibre duster.:(0 -

But stay off my manor if you know what's good for you, I'll be perusing the South Essex to East London corridor and clearing the shelves. (I have a lot of stuff to compress before I eBay it. If nothing else it makes it easier to transport to the chazzer).

I was in the Aberdeen Poundland yesterday and they have a new range of Jane Asher bakeware. They had lots of great things, but my favourite which I had to take home, was a metal cake slice with 6 mini cake forks.
Perfect for my Victoria sponge!0 -

:rotfl:No, no, no...I'm a Northerner!
Do you prefer lots of smaller ones, or fewer bigger ones? I bought one of the larger, hanging ones (though I don't hang it, it's well too heavy) from there and there is a hole in it somewhere, which is why I need a new one. I suppose smaller ones would give more options for where to stash them. Space is extremely limited in my tiny flat!0 -
Saw Collection 2000 lengthening coloured mascaras yesterday. They are in a lilac/purple bottle and the only colours they had were purple. They were a lighter purple though, lilac I'd say.0

Have a total of 20, all same large size so I can stack them together in boxes ready for the loft.

Today I got..
Terry's chocolate orange (usually upwards of £2)
Fox's party ring x 6 bags of minis
Go ahead slices in apple and sultana. I got other flavours from Tesco last week and they were two packs for £3, so £1 wasn't bad at all. Decent date on them too, September 14 I think.0 -
I spotted some of the recent Rimmel Space Dust nail polishes in the larger Exeter Poundland store on Sunday. These originally retailed at £3.99 I think.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0
