Lichfield has shut as well wonder if they are closing a few of there shops.

I went to Stamford High School and Stammy College (many moons ago ). Haven't been back for a few years, but would never have dreamed that there would be a Poundland there!

they have the disposabl bbqs in, have used them loads before and work just as well as the ones from elsewhere at double the price, also managed to pick up for a camping trip:

camping clothesline and pegs
pack of 10 tent pegs (no different to the ones in camping shops)
ground sheet plastic pegs set
and a couple of new bungee cords

I found a NYC lipstick in shade 'Golden One' which is exactly like a Max Factor that I've been using at £8.99. In fact, the NYC one is better....

well its not officially closing but only had a 6 month lease which is coming to an end ...the lease is back on offer (notice the big sign up on building!!) so fingers crossed they will renew or go to a different shop...its a bit silly cos does the stamford trade of commerce like to see a huge shop like that empty again for ages???

yes we have one..and a mcdonalds but that is now on the industrial site near the college where blackstones used to be! but still full of useless shops for us stamfordians..like high priced clothes and camping shops lol
