Found some crampex tablets , pack of 12 which had cost me £2.85 when I'd bought them a few weeks ago in Tesco. Also got some of the Jane asher tongs , only because they looked nice & I needed a set, naff all to do with Jane Asher.

Like my purchase of two Jane Asher baking trays. I didn't go for the name, I went for the fact that they looked sturdy and reasonable! :)

I think we could do with another thread on Grabbit specifically for Poundworld - easily confused with Poundland but probably with different suppliers and stock.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but we were in Poundland yesterday and we picked up Meet the Fockers: Little Fockers on Blu-Ray for £1 - this was the double play version so it had Blu-Ray AND a DVD in it which is handy as I don't actually have a Blu-Ray player :rotfl:

Watched it and it's quite a good film :)

Poundland are now selling Blackfriars flapjacks at 2 for £1.00. They're the same ones as Aldi sell and are excellent if you're off cycling or walking and need energy food. I like the chocolate one but they're all great and very filling.

Seems like Poundland have moved over to 24 exposure films completely now. I managed to get the last 5 x 36 exposure in Morecambe yesterday but all other shops I've been in just have 24's. This is one of the big drawbacks to being limited to £1 items. I would rather have paid £1.50 for 36 exposure than £1.00 for 24. I've probably had over a hundred of these in the last 18 months and it has saved a fortune!

I have seen some on long stems but IIRC they wasn't a huge range, nor were they particularly convincing.

Eta: actually, it may have been the 99p shop.
