I popped into today and bought a couple of desk-tidy drawers, handy for keeping small bits a pieces organised and out of sight. Also a 40 pack of photographic paper, 7x5".

Although I didn't get them, I was tempted to buy the individual cupcake boxes - packs of 10. Looked sturdy and very wedding-y (silver design on white card). Worth it for gifting personalised cupcakes.

    :wave:Happy New Year, everyone!

Keelykat, this yearbook looks good, I'm going to check it out!

I found (again) loads of aerobic/fitness dvd-s:j (I'm a big fan of home workouts), and saw a good choice of nail polish, from concrete look to caviar look and assorted colours by 3, etc. In the Glasgow Centre shop, there were lots of stick-on nails as well.

If someone wants to stockup, great choice of deodorants, shower gels and bath foams, washing up liquids (even 2 for 1 with 33% extra free :T:T) and spotted gardening tools and seeds and bulbs. I'm gonna go back to check these out because I'm starting growing my own veg this year... just need to find some advice how to do it exactly :p

Hm, Poundland is one of my favourite shop

For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

I bought a couple of packs at the weekend - took some time in deliberating whether I should have one or two as the pals of crocus' etc we so much bigger. Settled in 2 in the end - was charged £1 for both! So that was a waste of MSE brainspace!

Planted them along with my daffodil bulbs on Saturday afternoon. A bit late I know, but I am really looking forward to the result.

  • I purchased 11 comedy standup dvds, dated between 2009 - 2011 but still very good :-)

Leeds Crown Point store has a lot of Cow & Gate fruit puree pouches in. There's four in a pack, usually £2.50 ish in Boots. Three different flavours.

There's some nice Price & Kensington mugs in Trongate, Glasgow, Poundland at the moment.

    Here's two I got: https://www.dropbox.com/s/19rtdxmfjjv3dg7/Asstd%20Farmyard%20Mugs.jpg

Says "Assorted Farmyard Mug" as the variety. Can't see an equivalent online, though.
