Does anyone know if the HDMI cable they sell,is compatible with a macbook pro to tv?
I do not have a poundland near me but am visiting friends over the weekend, who have one-so could pop in and pick one up.
    Thank you inadvance. Zara

Doesn't the Macbook pro have a Mini Display port and not an HDMI socket? If so then no, the lead isn't suitable.
But I can't help wondering why you would want to scrimp on a £1 cable when you have a laptop which must have cost at least a thousand pounds. Put your hand in your pocket and buy a decent one.

    Ian.

Research (and personal experience, and stories of personal experience) shows that there is absolutely no difference between an expensive and cheap HDMI cable. Much like most products, it's just a way to get more money out of you.

As for the Mac; all Macs need specific Apple adapters. The HDMI will work with the computer but only if you also buy a MDP adapter to go with it.

Thank you for your suggestion, I think I will pop into a Apple store and bite the bullet. I was just trying to get it cheaply and I agree, they all work the same.

My local poundland are doing rimmel nail varnish, eyeshadow and eyeliner for a pound an item and revlon nail varnish as well, some sally hansen stuff in there also. I think I paid 4 quid for the rimmel nail varnish in boots.

I have had an iMac for a few years and have connected it to my TV with both a VGA cable and with my newer TV; a HDMI cable. I had to buy a MDP to VGA adapter and with my newer TV a MDP to HDMI adapter.

I bought both of them from ebay from Chinese companies; most recent MDP cost £2.89. Bought the HDMI cable from the Argos outlet shop on there too for £4.99 (it's a BELKIN).

Total cost of most recent adapter and HDMI cable cost 1/4 of the price of the official Apple adapter on it's own. I have had no issues with quality for all the years i've been using them. Don't waste your money on official Apple adapters.

Was in Glasgow today and Poundland on Union Street and the massive one on Argyle Street both had a big display of bags of nuts. I bought 150g brazil nuts saving 65p when compared to Tesco where they are £1.65 for 150g. I also got unsalted cashew nuts 130g and they are £4 for 300g in Tesco so I think that saves 73p if I've worked it out right. I also got a mix with almond, raisin and cranberries 150g They also had walnuts, mixed fruit and nuts, yoghurt covered fruit etc etc. In fact here is a link to Poundland and the nuts etc.

    http://www.poundland.co.uk/food-and-drink/sweets-and-snacks/fruit-nut

25 varieties and healthy for snacking (in moderation of course lol). For anyone who doesn't know - if you look at the Fats and take away the Saturated Fats figure, you are left with the amount of good fats (please correct me if I'm wrong with this but that's my understanding).
