I bought some Rimmel lip glosses, lipstick, kohl, eye liner, lip contouring pencil in Poundland@Harrow today. They had limited stock and it was flying off the shelf. Also bought some lovely childrens books( Hurry Up, Birthday!, Little Whales Song )0

There's some great ceramic lasagne dishes, ramekins (some with white innards and purple or turquoise bases), and larger rectangle-shaped white dishes in Argyle Street, Glasgow, right now.
Also, lots and lots of ties. Some even had Charles Tyrwhitt packaging on them (!). Here's a picture of a few I got, for Xmas-es.

I picked up the Inbetweeners Book in Coventry today - it's a hardback Book and it's sealed so will make a good present for OH.0

Just bought the Festive Tablecover with sew-in backing and taken it out of the bag and it has a nasty smell.
It is currently on the washing line - in the hope that the smell will go away - but I thought I would warn anybody else thinking about buying this tablecloth.
Thanks for all the posts re Poundland - this is the only time that I have been disappointed with a purchase.0
