hi wherabouts are these and what do they look like? i asked for watches the other day and they said they nevefr sell them!! lol

    thanks

There were loads of them so whoever told you that was definitely mistaken. They were three aisles over, on the "middle" shelving unit. From what I can remember, they had black and grey.

This is the Poundworld that's in the shopping centre with Morrisons, Iceland, etc. Was this where you went? I have no idea if there is another Poundland/world in the ctual town. We only nipped in after picking a parcel up at the sorting office!
  • In the abbey center store today I picked up 2 vintage style kelloggs cereal bowls. They are the glass ones with lovely vintage style images, I cant post a link to them on Amazon as I am a new user. I got the rice krispies and corn flakes ones, I think they have been mentioned before but then went oos for a good while.

I also got 3 of the rose bushes so hoping they will grow for me!

Saw but didnt buy beautiful teal green glass vases and decorative bowls which claimed to be handmade. They were very heavy translucent glass with a marbled effect. I don't need anything else to collect dust but they seemed good quality and a bit unusual.

Still haven't managed to pick up any Nerds or Gobstoppers as they are always oos for me. just bad timing I think as all the stores I have tried do have the retro sweets signs and display. I did get a big bag of wham mini bars which went far too quickly:)

Oh and finally Andrew Collinge Purity shampoo and conditioner 250ml which is £4.99 rrp. The bottle says 2010 award winner so I am guessing its pretty old stock and I think the range has even been discontinued now. I wish I had known more about this range when I was in store as a quick google indicates that this is a sulphate free shampoo and they usually cost quite a lot.
Ooh hope I can find these! :j

Those bowls look gorgeous x-Princess-Vikki-x, I hope I can find some of those!

My local Poundland had lots of Dishmatic cleaning brushes and refills. They're a washing up brush that you fill with liquid in the handle. I've been using mine for ages, it's brilliant!

I also bought some Rimmel nail polishes including Instyle Coral and the Mattefying topcoat. The exact same bottles are £3.69 in Superdrug!

They also had the full range of Dove Colour Radiance shampoos and conditioners, usually £2.49 elsewhere.

I stated in my original post that it was in Poundworld. We don't have a separate Poundworld thread (I checked prior to posting) and I also searched this thread to see if others had posted Poundworld finds here too. They had, so I posted too.

I used the Andrew Collinge Purity Volume Therapy conditioner this morning and it's lovely - wish I'd picked up two, now! It had mixed reviews, so I was a bit hesitant on buying; after all it's not a bargain if it's useless.
I wouldn't say that it has added much volume - and it's meant to- but my hair is so well-conditioned and soft.
The fragrance is the nicest I've ever come across in a rinse - out conditioner and has lingered on my dry hair. A really good buy.

the last few days have had enormous bars of cadburys chocolate 200g size
I thought the days of £1 for 200g Cadbury bar were well and truly gone - time to investigate :T
Food - For Tayto Velvet Crunch fans, they had the Salt and Vinegar five packs in, as well as the Thai Sweet Chilli.
I've seen these sold in bars, but never direct to punters in the UK. I know they're a staple in ROI though, that's what you call the luck of the Irish.

  • The Rice Krispies bowl pictured is exactly the same as the one I picked up in Abbeycentre, the Cornflakes one is ever so slightly different. Mine has a yellow background and only a boy and the cornflakes box, no girl. It really is a subtle difference though. They are dishwasher safe if any of you are wondering. There was no label or marking on them but I have given them a run through the dishwasher with no trouble. Thanks for posting a picture on the previous page!
