In Newtownards poundland yesterday there were packs of 20 red CocaCola napkins down to 50p as well as novelty ice cube trays down to 50p too.
Lots of easter stuff in, I bought the net pack of mini foil wrapped easter eggs and I rarely say this but they are not worth £1. They taste like scotchbloc if you remember that. Had fun telling hubby they were delicious then watching his face screw up in disgust.
8m of non stick baking parchment looked good.
Also a new (to this store anyway) cardboard stand of themed cookbooks all £1 and all thin but hardbacked. Some of the titles included chocolate, bread, tapas etc.0 -

Sorry if already mentioned...
Saw some Scholl maternity compression socks in Watford PL today.
Also picked up a cute little wind-up LED eco torch that looks like a duck. The kind that wind-up by squeezing the side so no need for batteries. (Also had pig, cow and dog ones)0 -
Maternity compression socks would be a great idea for anyone suffering with leg fatigue (including men!). I can feel another visit coming on!
I love wind - up torches, don't really need one but would make a novel Easter gift for DGC.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

In Watford they were hanging on clipstrips on a small section of wall which juts out by the health stuff (medicines, bandages etc) on the far wall. Never been to that store before and just popped in briefly, so not familiar with the layout, but pretty sure they were inbetween the health stuff and the hair stuff. They definitely weren't with the household/DIY type stuff. HTH
The clipstrips had "£3" stickers all over them so I think that might've put people off. I felt really stupid but did actually ask how much they were, just to be sure!!!0 -

I've been racking my brain to try and remember what was displayed underneath the clipstrips but I can't recall....I'm sure it wasn't torches though!
Good luck - hope you manage to find some0
