Picked up some lovely make up bargains this week:
Rimmel 1000 kisses lip stain (rrp 5.99)
Revlon Just Bitten lip stain was also instock
Sleek lipstick (usually £4.29 in superdrug)
Also spotted in the 99p Store today they had tons of Veet in shower hair removal cream+sponge sets. I looked it up on my phone some of them sell for £6+ in wilkinsons! (I know there's a separate thread for the 99p store but it's pretty dead)
will lookout for the revlon tint, thanks op:j:j:j0 -
We don't have the 99p stores in the local area - perhaps because they are a Southern-based chain and only gradually moving north. This is very true re Home Bargains (and BM Bargains), though my nearest HB is some distance away. HB are in Wales though - my sis has one on her doorstep practically, in Cardiff.
My son would love the Nerds... I feel a PL visit coming!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I just found the 99p store website - there is one in Middlesbrough and one in Hartlepool. Cool.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I am loving the Nivea Argan Oil Lipglosses that my local has at the moment. I've bought two colours and they are a really good quality and very moisturising.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Does anyone else have problems getting the glittery chit chat nail varnish off? I used it over another nail varnish and when I took it off with nail varnish remover it only took the original varnish off plus the colour of the glitter so was left with silver glitter still. I had to scrape it off in the end! Still love it though, it looks lovely!'They only had one cow!'0

You would be surprised, HBs are popping up everywhere. They have a Goofle map showing every one within 100 miles of your location:

I left both of the "radio" buttons blank, it looks like Google knows where your server is located.
Anyway it looks like Sturry Road Canterbury, not a million miles from the Canterbury Asda, is the furthest from HB's origins?0 -
I did make PL Darlington today (and also P'world D'ton.). In PL I bought some Dorset Cereals fruit muesli, 410g.
At first, I thought this compared really well with A!di's own brand, (500g, £1.59) but on looking at the labels closely, A!di's is over 50% fruit, but Dorset Cereals' is just 30%.
Hordes of sweets but no Nerds. Never mind...!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
