Guinness Brown sauce, I got 2 bottles of it.

I love it and don't like paying £1.80+ at the supermarket so have stocked up.

(improves the blandness of supermarket food)

My mum had a similar thing happen to her in the pound shop they can be very rude it seems to me to be that way in most of their shops. So what if you only paid a £1 for something if doesn't work or its the wrong item they should put it right with out the rudeness.

Sorry :( I didn't realise tinypic did that. I won't use that site any more! Just checked a few of my links and they don't always work. Think my pop up blockers stop the videos playing.

Not your fault (but boy do I hate that advert)! :p

Liscard store have boxes of Go Ahead yoghurt topped thins, in Forest Fruit variety. Normally over £2 in the supermarkets! They had other Go Ahead bars as well but I didn't note what they were.

  • Had the worst customer service experience of my life at Poundland recently. Tried to take something back, because when I got it home the wrong product was in the packet. Was accused of shoplifting by a member of till staff, then accused of lying about the product being not as the packaging stated, then she shouted and pointed and me, before she refused to serve me and started ringing her bell for assistance. I had to wait for about 10 other people to be served, before someone else came over. Took no less than 5 members of staff to sort this very simple problem out. I was so shocked by the whole thing, I actually went home and cried and felt pretty pathetic about having to do so.

Just to keep it on topic, they have some bargain micro-multi-screwdrivers, with tiny star keys, where are perfect for taking harddrives apart. Don't know if I will go back again in a hurry though.
How horrible for you. I had a nasty experience in P/L when I was going to buy a ball for my son. He chose his ball and was carrying it, he bounced it once and some old hag that worked there proceeded to tell him off in front of me. I told her we were going to buy the ball and she just stared at me, so I dumped the ball and my whole basket full of items in front of her and walked out the shop. We bought a ball elsewhere!
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

  • Thanks for your support everyone, I am actually very relieved to hear I am not the only person who has had problems there. I am quite a regular shopper there, so I had been wondering what was so different about that day to the other times I had been in. I feel more able to stop wondering now.

I did ring up the customer service number on the receipt to complain. I tried a few times, but apparently they were too busy to take my call and it asked me to leave my name and number. I did this in the end, with a brief summary of what happened, but no one has called me back yet, I am not really hopeful that they will, but feel better for saying my piece.
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.

I got the bull fighter selling the rolls of kitchen towel, and then the mask picture.

Anyway for those of us who cannot make it to the real carnival:
