I know I am poor at maths but the Stila I got says 2006. Can't work out how it's 8 years old. Have used it and perfectly fine as well. In my opinion bit of sour grapes from certain overpriced companies.
Maybe 2006 was the 'best before date' and it was actually manufactured in 2004Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Poundland have a £2 off £12 spend with this voucher on facebook. Maybe they've seen their profits nosedive since Monday?fluffypocket wrote: »I bought it as an extra business card holder and it is the same size as my original and made the same way , just a plain silver metal one. Your post led me to scrutinise my Stila goodies; there is no expiry date on the packs although there is a batch number....the 2006 refers to the copyright of the product. But I did have a laugh at the last post.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

So, if the £land Stila products have 2006 for the copyright, either manufacturers had some strange foresight or the items aren't 8 years old (as also doubted by derms).0 -

I did an ebay buy - £2.99 Free P&P - as shop prices were so silly.

I had been looking for a hot water bottle but could not find any anywhere apart from Wilkinsons, just over 3 pounds.
Ended up buying lots of things from Wilkinsons as its a great store.0 -

Why not try a wheat bag instead? certainly more flexible then a bottle as it can be rolled around aching limbs - lovely drapped over the shoulder for new mums.
I've had my wheat bag for 8 years now - no worry about scalding my self as my right hand shakes alot (I am right handed) and no burning rubber smell.
Try ebay or amazon.0 -
Just been to poundland in harrow.....picked up some of the beaded pens/notebooks/frames.....perfect for DD's chritsmas stocking and little gifts for her friends....
Also had advent calendars in stock....plus some cards and tags!0 -
2013 Photo Calendar (to make yourself) - Polaroid brand. Pack includes calendar and pack of photo paper. The idea is that you print photots in your inkjet printer and stick them onto the pages.
Good quality and excellent value for £1
Note that the actual ones in the shop are for 2013 - this is the only photo I could find online0 -
