i didnt know the stila make up was 8 years old either, i didnt really hear much of it, only little bits on here as im more on hotukdeals as im lazy to look through stuff!, but eww. 8 years old is a little bit old even if its not been opened. i wonder if someone found them in a skip, or in the back of a warehouse somewhere!, very odd

I know I am poor at maths but the Stila I got says 2006. Can't work out how it's 8 years old. Have used it and perfectly fine as well. In my opinion bit of sour grapes from certain overpriced companies.
  • i found in the eastbourne store dettol no touch refils orignal smell. these are £3.50 in tesco
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.
  • Really recommend the money boxes that they have in the Christmas sections. I know it's super early but I run a youth group and kids club and there's about 30 5-16 year olds to buy for!

Bought all the girls the gorgeous cartoon owl money boxes in pink and purple. Really on trend at the minute, also got my stamp-mad dad the post box shaped one which I was very impressed by.

Saw very entertaining green wheelie bin desk tidys too!

Desk tidys and owls in Mansfield Store, and post box in Nottingham store next to Broadmarsh.

oooooooh and picked up my Mum the last book of Harry Hill's 'Tim the Tiny Horse at Large'...hilarious!

I got the cake stand from Slough Poundland last week. It seems very sturdy and good quality. :)

I can vouch for it, but you do need to clip it shut tightly.

Not a find, but a seek: has anyone come across business card holders at Poundland. I'll be damned if I pay John Lewis prices if something functional exists in Poundland.

  • Re business card holder I picked up in Superdrug a pack of I think they are oil blotting facial wipes in a clear plastic pack off the 10p clearance shelf the case they are in is a metal all be it quite lightweight business card holder. The wipes themselves are sealed in plastic. I bought it as an extra business card holder and it is the same size as my original and made the same way , just a plain silver metal one. I hope that helps
If its not cheap and its not free I don't want it and I will wait till it is :p
