Couldn't find any anti-freeze today. Do poundland usually do it? I know it's early for winter but you do need it all year round0

Do only a very few poundland stores sell all of what's listed on the website? I went to one poundland store, but the x-mas section was very small...?Also, the After Eights were 170g, not 200g as website states. Is this the same in all stores?
If the image had been renamed 170g they could have used it!
However, After Eights are produced in boxes of 170g so that they can be priced at £1 in Poundland. Cutting back on the weight allows much of the price cut.
Same applies to bars of soap - in regular shops you would find soaps like Imperial Leather in 125g bars. In Poundland (and similar) they are 100g.0 -
Was up in Glasgow today and got some good buys and saw some great goodies in the Argyle Street store. Lots of Christmas goodies in stock too, but didn't buy any.
3 pack of minstrels
4 pack of Aeros
4 pack of toffee crisps
ds game - to stop smoking
various psp games
Wii games
F1 car fresheners
8 packs of Wagonwheels
This is a huge store so must go back for a better store.0 -

Did they have all the christmas stuff that poundland display on their website?0 -
With the Halloween stuff I found some pumpkin shaped silicone cake moulds. You get 4 pumpkin shapes in each mould, roughly muffin sized I think.
I thought I might have a go at making some pumpkin shaped bath bombs for little Halloween gifts......(although more than likely they'll stay unused with all the other novelty moulds which I seem to be collecting with good itentions!)0 -
Picked up a stylus set (for touchscreen phones/gadgets) the other day. Contains one mini-stylus that has a clip to secure it to the headphone socket on your phone, and one bigger one (touted as for iPad's etc.) with a pen style clip. The smaller one was useless - the tip of it is hard rubber and pointy, would not recommend using this one as you have to press pretty hard to get a result. The bigger one is fine though, and is perfect for even my small phone (3.2 inch screen).
Obviously this set was £1! It was in the section with all the phone bits, but I had to root through a messy shelf and found them at the bottom of a pile of camera/phone cases etc. This was in the Wrexham store.
EDIT: Just noticed that Pound World also sell the bigger stylus (it looks identical) on its own for £1 if Poundland have run out0 -

I'm always raving to anyone who will listen about my silicone spatula that I got from the 99p shop - very MSE as it scrapes the mixing bowl completely clean - and intended to buy another for my mum yesterday. Instead I went to Poundland and saw it there on a 3 for 2 mix & match deal, the other items were silicone brushes (like pastry brushes but much easier to clean) and a slotted spoon / spatula combo - beware, although they are colour matched to the silicone items these are in fact a cheap and nasty plastic.
In the end I bought 3 spatula and brush sets in different colours, one for my parents and each of my siblings. 6 items for £4.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
