I got Compeed Overnight Cracked Heel Cream from my poundland. It's great to keep feet moisturised in the winter but not sure it would be good enough in the summer when only Flexitol will heal my cracked heels!

I know it sounds weird, but I use this on my hands too which get cracked in the winter sometimes. It was recommended by a pharmacist so is perfectly ok and it is the only thing that actually works for me. I usually pay over £4 per tube, so that is definately one I will be looking out for.
  • My other half gets dry hands too over winter and we cant seem to find anything that really works for it. Will be definitely be giving this a try, after I've been to poundland!

Hi, thanks! I've had a look, it's a fantastic blog. I'm looking forward to your reviews x

I was in Poundland yesterday and I ended up getting a few Christmas bits, they had Super Mario chocolate Advent Calendars which my boys will love. Only problem is it's still only October so now I have to store them away!

  • Really nice mirrored jewellery stands for bracelets/bangles. I bought one for stocking filler and one for myself and am very pleased with how it looks on my dresser. Need to sort through as some chipped or mirror stuck on at angle! Also bought a boxed skipping rope with wooden painted handles (doll face or penguin) and a nice wide crochet effect 'evening' glittery scarf available in various colours.

  • Just picked up TV cream toys book ( toys from the 70's) and it would make a fantastic Xmas present! Same as this- http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/1905548273

Today in P/L Glos I got a Fray Bentos chicken pie-in-a-tin , marked 'Limited Edition' and PM'd £2.19. I've not had one of these for ages, but I remember them as being very tasty. with lovely crumbly puff pastry, once you have baked them for 25 minutes.

A great £1 cupboard stand-by, with a long shelf life date of May'13.
