It's not possible to visit one and not the other - I like to compare the price of tat on principal ;)

I tend to just stick to the 99p Store in Stratford and always have a quick whizz around Tiger.

This has just appeared on Hotukdeals..the £2 off £12 spend voucher is back, back, BACK (as Smash Hits used to say :o) http://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/poundland-2-off-when-spend-12-their-shops-using-printable-voucher-1345115 (credit to manchester-macca)

Good for stocking up on Hallowe'en goodies, or Xmas. Eligible from 25 October-4 November.

Re the money off (£1 off £10) listed on the receipts..I only ever got one once, and promptly used it. I'm in Poundlands a few times a week. Still looking for the mini Monopoly games for my baby brother (who's 27!).

Off to "Like" them on Facebook..! (Hm, can only see the voucher above on there..?). Seems the Hallowe'en one (£2 off £10) ran out on the 24th.

I got 4 x Papaya Punch J2Os from a Glaswegian city centre Poundland yesterday (think it was Trongate..can't remember which one, went round them all!).

    Poundland in Canterbury now has more Christmas stock.Some items I noticed include;

3 pack of Christmas plates (thick plastic ones with Christmas characters on)
Christmas mugs in the shape on Santa and snowmen.
Blow up Santa and snowmen figures which look great, I got one :)
    Christmas window stencils
Christmas stickers, great for arts and crafts!
Lots of Christmas decorations including lights
Santa stop here signs - a few designs
Wooden Christmas door handle decorations, they are really nice thick wood painted blue with a Christmas character on.

They also had loads of little gift sets, I didn't have chance to look in detail but appeared to be things such as 3 pack of lip glosses, little smelly sets and little make up sets which looked like they would be great for Christmas :)

I got the 4 x 250ml bottle of peach and papaya J2O in the Perth store today. It's lovely. It costs £3.67 in Tesco. Didn't know if I'd like it so only bought one pack. Wish I'd bought more now but it was too heavy to carry with my other shopping. Also they had big bars(230g) of Cadburys Caramel and Cadburys Turkish Delight which usually sell for about £2.20. Bought them for the kids stockings but was really hungry on my way home and one of them mysteriously vanished!

I hope you made the right choice :D

It's usually the 120g bars for that size so I shall be looking out!

All sold out at both our branches, several days ago, sadly, along with the Whole Nut ones. :(

Cadburys chocolate peanuts 200g bags on top shelf in Ashford Kent branch. Much nicer than the cheap brand bags (225g) of choc peanuts hanging on the hooks.
Also picked up more Thorntons mint crumbles to munch through at the cinema last night when watching Skyfall (smuggled in inside handbag). I'm now rather addicted to both the mint crumbles and Daniel Craig!

Impressed with Blackpool Poundland! Popped in and found quite a few good bits.

Doggy Santa dress (for brother's pooch!)
Charlie Chaplin- The Tramp's Oddessy book
Street Gang- The Complete History of Sesame Street book

also saw Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall's 'Hugh Fearlessly Eats it All' which I probably should have bought.
