I had a very grumpy toddler with me today and didn't get chance to look properly. I will have a proper look tomorrow, we are getting our DD a sand & water table for her birthday in a couple of weeks, so I think I will buy a bag and see what it is like. It was in the summer fun section.

cheers - we have a huge sandpit so need LOADS to refill it.

I was in my local PL yesterday and saw loads of Rimmel products, eyeshadows mascara, nail polish etc, retails from £2.99 to£5.99 so I had to buy a fair few of them!.
Also had some covergirl foundation which I bought 5 of, it goes on like a treat, only downside is it smells quite medicated. also got some good solaire sunscreen and aftersun, which work brilliant
Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me :)

    Play sand update.
Didn't buy a bag as I had to carry it home and it was heavier than I thought. I would guess it was about 3kg per bag, there was no weight on the pack. looks good quality.

Found some on eBay (larger bags) so it's this stuff:

I got Aapri Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Pillows (x30 in a pack), putting one in my sister's birthday goody bag, and one for me. http://www.aapri.co.uk/products/exfoliating-pillows

Great for travelling. Used to buy the Neutrogena ones but the price for them was a lot for what you got!

Seemed to be in all the Glasgow City Centre ones I visited (though didn't look in Sauchiehall Street).

There were some Esprit lipglosses (in tubes) and nail varnishes; no idea if they're any good but they went in the basket too. Well-regarded here (blog is from 2010) but the link to the Esprit make-up site is dead now. http://www.makeup4all.com/esprit-cosmetics-would-you-give-it-a-try/

I love the Goody brushes, I've got a few and they're brilliant. You can never come out of Poundland empty-handed!!

Need to go back and bung some Heathcote And Ivory bits in her birthday bag :)

I bought 4 boxes of Lyclear Headlice treatment yesterday (Thanks to who ever pointed it out on here) very happy as you can easily spend around £10 on headlice treatment.
    Zippy x
The best remedy I ever read about was: Listerine (original) sprayed onto dry hair, wrapped in a towel for a few hours, then combed out (with a Nitty Gritty comb, preferably).

Then rinse hair with white vinegar. I tried this after getting desperate (caught them from my young niece and tried every prescription ointment I could get). It works! http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2007/06/18/listerine-used/

"A lice expert once told us that she thought the alcohol (26.9 percent) in Listerine was toxic to lice. The herbal oils found in Listerine (thymol, eucalyptol, menthol and methyl salicylate) may also contribute to the effect....Strong vinegar softens the glue that holds the nits to the hair shaft. Blow drying the hair also is a huge deterrent to head lice."

The woman in the Chemist practically threw the bottle of nit ointment at me when I tried whispering for one in an empty shop (did that once, then phoned my GP instead). If she could have given me the bottle with tongs, she would have, I bet. Embarrassing!

Oh also, there were Ed Hardy Blackberry silicone (I think) phone covers in the Trongate Poundland. Think it was for the Blackberry Bold 9780 only (might be wrong on the model number), didn't wade through them all.

I found Wispa Gold packs of 4 in Oxford PL the other day - amazing! I love them, and have found it hard to find them since they were relaunched.
