My recent findsTommee tippee active straw & active sipper cups. Blue, green & pink.
    http://www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/active_sipper/
Also a tommee tippee set with a magic mat & bowl. These are a must when weaning, keeps plates in place using a suction cup. I paid £4 for the mat alone.

    Toy story child's cutlery set.

Also had small packs of vanish oxi action powder & Ariel stain remover.
Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

I got a good cake cover/ carrier in Norwich, similar to Lakeland ones. I've already seen them being sold on eBay!

Can you please put a link for the carrier. I need to look for one in my local. Thanks

unless they have changed the design from last year, the clips on the cake carriers do not always stay "locked", so could be messy, I tend to carry mine by the base

Mine which I bought last year was useless as like yours the clips didn't stay locked.

This new one looks very different.

    Thanks to OP

Note* This is for your whites wash only. There is another kind for colour wash stain removal.

I stumbled across the "Ariel stain remover & whitening powder" 6 x 60g sachets in Edinburgh St James branch 24-1-12.

    Packet says:

"For stains like: wine, coffee & grass" Wish I was at that party :rotfl:

    1. Add your detergent as normal
    2. Add 30g dose (half the packet) into the detergent drawer
    3. Start washing cycle (no sh1* Sherlock)

I would add fabric conditioner or I imagine towels will be like cardboard when they dry :D

So we get 12 stain whitening washes for £1 which I think is pretty good price for a premium brand

I read the Which review on washing powders and liquids. Which said that the liquids can't get the dirt and stains out as well as the powders can. Firstly because there is no bleaching agents in the liquids which, I never knew until I read the Which review.

So it stands to reason my whites are going to look off white if I use liquids all the time. Liquids are easier on your washing machine long term though and the drains too! So occasionally using these sachets sounds like a sensible money saving idea. Towels last longer before chucking them, machine last longer. £1.

If anyone has tried other Poundland brands which work out more cost effective and work as well as Ariel please chime in :)
