I took the last on the shelf in Sheffield but at £11.22 in BOOTS!! well worth getting one.

I know this isn't really the place for this of heavy stuff, but if you are going to use Lyclear you should really read up on the active ingredient Permethrin, as it is an endocrine disruptor and harmful to people as well as headlice.
Permethrin is a potential carcinogen, is known to cause neurological damage in people and animals and has been linked to Gulf War syndrome because they were using the pesticide too.
It is being investigated by the EPA in America, because it is used in pet flea treatments products as well and cause in excess of 10,000 pet deaths in the US alone in the last couple of years.
Again, sorry for the off topic post, but I would feel awful seeing this and not pointing it out.So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

Another off topic post,
despite being rather expensive, the only lice treatment I'd ever use is Full marks, the only thing it can do to you is give you dry hair, which can be sorted out with a bit of conditioner0 -

you'll be pleased to know this one used DIMETICONE not PERMETHERIN.
Plus you only leave it on for 10 mins (which isn't really enough time to soak into the scalp/ brain)
(linky.... not for Lyclear but uses same active ingredient)
but hey thanks for the warning.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Your dead right, sorry for that. Double checked it's the cream not the mousse that has the permtherin in. I couldn't find the ingredients on the Boots page, so I googled it, and didn't realise there was a difference. So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

Only way to eradicate nits is fine comb every day with conditioner. Have been through every nit treatment and the nits my kids get are all resilient to these. Also chemical don't kill the nits but not sure what they do to my treasures. However love Poundland. :-)0 -

I thought you weren't supposed to use bleach with any other cleaning materials because of the chlorine gas given off.
No your not, but she puts in a small amount of the thick bleach and does not soak the clothes in them so that the gas can be given off. I would have thought though that most whitners contain some form of powdered bleach(?)0
