Visited Dabs website earlier, they have various Navman PDA/GPS units selling at silly prices
the Navman PiN 300 is selling at £169.99 + postage (£175.99) I've not seen anywhere else for under £320.00

Plus they have the Navman ICN 610 GPS for £179.99 + postage

The Navman ICN 510 Premium Edition for £249.99 + Postage

and the Navman ICN 635 GPS V3 for £319.99 + Postage

Stock loogs good on all items but it may just be an Halloween weekend special.
I ordered the Navman Pin for my sister so I knew what the postage was for that one
its was £6.99 for the postage so I'd assume its the same for the others

thanks roger, the only problem i have now is do i get the pin 300 or the 510?
help someone.
i did read you can load OS maps onto the pin300, anyone shed any light?
thanks0 -
Pin 300 is a PDA (same as the mitec Mio 168) so will run most mapping software, also useful for a multitude of other uses....playing games, watching films, calender, word processing, etc. The others are more dedicated GPS units....personally, I don't understand why peeps buy a stand alone item when a PDA (with built in GPS) can do the route planner ans so much more.Welcome, rogerramjet.

tend to agree roger, ive got a mitac mio 168 with ttn3 and its great, recently bought a tom tom go 500 stand alone for the old man when argos had them mispriced(wouldnt have otherwise).
advantage of the tom tom go is
very very easy to set up and use
picks up more satelittes and quicker
no stylus needed(big onscreen buttons)
the cheaper stand alone units dont even have these advantages(small screens, scroll wheels etc).why people buy these i have no idea.
if your a bit of a technophobe(like my old man) i would suggest one of these but if not the pda route is better value and has a lot more flexability.
good prices youve found there roger:cool:

Yep...read the item description, then the specifications and as a last resort do a google search on the manufactures part numberWelcome, rogerramjet.

I was swaying toward the pin 300, but i've read some petty damning reviews from the states, does anyone have any experience of either the icn610 or the pin300 - also does anyone know about uploading poi's? particularly speed cams?
thanks0 -
Do a search on mitec mio 168 for reviews, its basically the same unit, My bro has the mio 168 which he uses with tomtom, he's not mentioned any problems with the one he's got. could be worthwhile checking http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/ for info on POI and reviewsWelcome, rogerramjet.

Does it come with maps and a memory card, and do anyone know the size of the card?0
-
I may have misunderstood but the icn510 at Dabs does not come with the europe maps - they want £124 for those -making it £374 for the whole package.
If you have a costco card and one of their little 'passport voucher books' you can get the same package (icn 510, remote control & europe maps) for £282 including VAT for the 2nd week in November only - nearly £100 cheaper. Good deal.0 -
