I am so pleased you've had a good scrabble around and found enough to keep going.

Don't use the coinstar machine though to change any money in the supermarket. It takes a percentage of your money.

Rhubarb............crumble for the next few nights then!

There is an 'egg and potato' thread buried somewhere on OS if you get really stuck, lots of ideas for using just eggs and potatoes!

You could put a card in newagents (usually about 30p a week) offering ironing/Cleaning service. I have just started doing ironing and charge 50p an item as recommended by this site and it works out over £6 an hour the rate I go at
  • Oh Bluejeans, I'm sorry I wasn't around to offer support when you needed it, I'm so pleased youv'e come out the other side!
Well done for being productive and not just borrowing more money, I would have begged my mum for cash or the bank to increase my overdraft but from now on I'm going to follow your lead and sort myself out!!
Good luck with the Car boot!

Do you have any DVD's or computer games you can trade in for cash aat Grainger Games, I have done this a few times when i am broke. And its immediate you get the cash, now today. There is one in Metro Centre and Newcastle and all over North East. The cash is not huge but with enough DVD's or games you can come out with enough to get you through. You do need a form of ID now to get cash rather than trade in value so take along Driv Licence or summic. GL mate x
