£9 to last 12 days

   and i need to put petrol in the car. Any idea's on fast cash ? I have put wheels in motion to earn extra cash but paid at the end of the month. So that wont help me now ! Ive never ever been cashless before, this is just the worst nightmare i am already in debt to 1 friend and 2 family members for £800. So just cant go to them again. I feel sick, finances and myself at a all time low.

I was in this situation too, I sold my wii and wii fit... anything around that you could sell even for an extra £20 or so?

    24 hour listing on e-bay

Car boot sale at the weekend (or even mid week)

(open sealed tin if you can?)

Do you have to put petorl in the car - ie do you have to go to work by car? If so put as a little as possible in.

Do a store cupboard challenge for meals..
  • I so feel your pain, a couple months ago I was broke again just days after being paid and needed to wait a whole month for any money, it hurt....a lot. maybe a mid week boot sale?! garden sales seem to go down well on that mid morning tv show too lol and it is instant cash if you have anything laying around.

I hope you get through this ok, all the best. I'm sure some other savvy money saver will be along shortly with some fab tips :D

Hi bluejeans - am sure someone will have lots of ideas but all I can think of is

write an inventry of your freezer and cupboards and do a meal plan so you wont need to buy any food.

    try a carboot sale asap

feel down the back of the sofa;)

walk wherever possible to save on petrol

    Hiya,

I really know how you feel, having no money is a terrible nightmare. I would try some of the things the others have said and use up what is in the house for eating. I know it's no comfort just now, but it will get easier. I am the same at the moment, but I know that things will get better eventually.

    Take care,

take 1 day at a time - don't put petrol in until you really, REALLY have to.

Do a list of all the food in the house and when you've made all the meals you think you can - head over to Old Style and list what you have and the number of meals it has to cover.

Crack open the £2 tin (sorry - know you've only got £2 in it!) and again look at OS for meal ideas - there is a regular doing food for 50p a day at the moment over there!

Is there anyone who OH could get a lift to work with - even if it's just 1 or 2 of the days?

I've been in your situation, it's really horrible but just keep posting each day and we'll get you through it.
