GE from what i remember use overseas call centres so not always the best for getting things sorted out. It is almost impossible to get anything sorted over the phone anyway, so no conversation no misleading answers..i forgot to add always note down the times and dates of said phonecalls for follow up letters of complaint!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Also previous advice has been never to give security details over the phone..MBNA often ask for a mobile no as confirmation as well..very sneaky they are!
I do have caller display and only answered once when I thought I was in the right mood to be firm and it was just an automated call 'click 1 if you are XXXX or 2 if not' and I didn't want to bother with that.
I won't be giving any personal info to them and they'll be confirming who they are before I say a word. This site is a wealth of valuable information. :TOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 1026 - Proud to be dealing with my debtsDebt at LMB: £22500.
