:A He's got two big empty wall mounted baskets at the front of his house, just perfect for tomato plants....

I had to pick the rest of my cabbage and eat that as well, it was under attack from caterpillars  It's done really well, been eating it since March and it just kept coming. :D

    This weeks tasks:
    1. I need to make my first payment to CCCS by September 1st but it has to be in cash. £465 in cash by next Monday and I don't get paid until Friday and I really didn't want to have to leave it until the 1st but I definitely cannot get to a post office on Saturday. I just have to nake sure I get there on Monday.
    2. Send my DD form off to CCCS so I don't have to worry about task 1 any other month!!!
    3. I should get most of my statements this week so will be able to complete the spreadsheet I started. I want to know exactly where I am up to with all the debts.
    4. Need to find out more about F&F offers, i.e. can I do it with just one creditor at a time? or do i have to wait until I can offer something to them all? I'm guessing the later.
    5. Must remember to pay off the creditor I forgot to include in the DMP, only £72 and will be able to afford it with all the OT I've done this month.
    6. Must remember to cancel creditexpert before they take any money - have 3 weeks left. it's really handy to keep looking at but I don't want to forget to do it - might give it one more week.
    7. Send that useless phone back, it's been 3 weeks since it bust and I keep forgetting. :o
    8. Get ebaying! I've had a bag of stuff sat here for ages must get it on. Unless there is a cheap listing day coming up soon?!
    9. Venture out of my own diary and read and maybe even comment in other peoples!

It's been great having a day off, my last day off (excluding weekends) was in May and my next lot of holidays isn't until October (not sure that pack holiday with my brownies is going to overly relaxing either... :rotfl: )

Managed to get loads of things done today, resealed the porch roof - sprung a leak months ago and I never had chance to do anything (no way willI pay someone!) I moved everything from that corner and shoved a bucket there. :o Also tidied the porch up whilst I was at it. I then tackled the overgrown rose and clematis on my back wall - 6 green bags ready to be collected for recycling tomorrow. :T

I finally got round to the massive pile of shredding I had last night - a black sack full! There were loads of loan offers that I hadn't bothered to read when they came - 60% APR on some of them. surely noone would be that crazy? Finally told the loan company who kept ringing my mobile where to go this morning. :D He wouldn't tell me which company he was from (YES loans) and got very huffy when I wouldn't tell him why I was no longer after a loan. That better be an end to those pesks.

Also finally got round to some ironing, the last month all I've bothered with is stuff for work but i was rapidly running out of clothes. :o

I did manage to find some me time, a nice new haircut and highlights. Been wanting them for ages but couldn't afford it, so my lovely mummy paid as an early birthday present. :j

My mum is lovely and very supportive.

Haven't managed anything off my list today. :o Stayed an hour and half late at work and didn't feel inclined to do anything when I got in, tomorrow I WILL be more productive.

No calls to landline or mobile today! Long may that continue. I got a letter from GE Money "Although we fully appreciate your situation, we are unable to hold the account in abeyence without regular monthly payments." No really, i thought you'd let me pay nothing ever again... It's not like I was asking them to accept a token payment each month, they'll be getting over half their contracted amount each month. Hopefully this is just a standard letter and they will be agreeing to the CCCS.

I miss my phone, my old one which I'm using is a bit dodgy with certain buttons only working sometimes and the screen is not good for my bad eyes. I don't know how i ever managed with it.

Not a completely unproductive day after all. :D

  • Fingers crossed on the phone Bau! I think that was just a standard letter, so not to worry about it too much.
I think the key is to remain positive about things. Once they accept the DMP, i am sure others will soon be writing to you.

Plenty of letters, all demanding money. And another new Credit card.

I'm having a very unproductive week, full of cold and feeling miserable, I'm in total mope mood. :o Got to snap out of this so much to do.

Get paid tomorrow so can sort a few things out, had a total of £500 taken off my wages - tax, student loans etc.  I think I'm still going to have over £400 'spare' this month to go into a savings account.

  • Colds will get you like that. At least it is good news about your wages. Plenty of paracetamol, honey and lemon juice in water, hot water bottle..comfy pyjamas and a good DVD. Always sorts me out!:D In fact may just do that anyway:rotfl:
