Woke up early 5:45 and had to come down, as heard dog open back door. Downstairs was a lovely chilly 11 degree C. Decided to kick heating in early, and am now at 12 degrees C. Good job I have woke early though, as hardly any milk, and kids need some for breakfast.
DD has just woken up and is now trying to fuse herself to radiator.
Managed my first NSD yesterday:j Just another 6 to find.
Made a combined meal from two recipes, Curried chickpeas and a strange soup thing that contained courgettes. kids where not over keen, I would have liked it more if not for painful ulcers. Going to blitz the great deal that is left, to make more of an easy to swallow soup.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0 -
3 hours later and now up to a whopping 16 degrees C. Heating goes off in a bit. Had hoped to hit 20 before then. Never mind. Been thinking more about my £4k challenge the income I am going to use for my £4k challenge is going to be more the £4k. I am going to use my income support and child benefit as my day to day £4k fund and it comes to :
£2282.80 Child Benefit
£2695.68 Income Support
£4978.48 Total
Had hoped to just use child benefit and maintenance, but that left be down by £500 so would have been real hard to do challenge on £3482.80
Anyhow, probs need that extra £900 to cover costs of heating for this winter...
Actually if I do get these zero fare passes for the kids, I just might be able to do it on CB + Maintenance as their fares alone cost £640 for a school year (40 weeks)19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0 -
Got home today to find the application forms for the Zero fare passes:j:j
Also got a couple more Avon customers for my round. Think on whole I now have a positive list of who does/doesn't want Avon. Main thing is I now have enough customers to at least make a small profit after buying brochures in, unlike before where I only made enough to buy them.
Have noticed today, when I wake up cold, I jsut spend day huddled up and don't do anything, yet if I wake warm, then am more likely to kick my back side into gear and do some house work.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0 -
Oh yes, oh yes oh yes oh yes, I have boot scraper I wanted for Xmas (well I wanted it, just thought I would be buying it myself) Since sister forgot to buy for EVERYONE'S birthday this year, she is doing around £30-£40 a person for Xmas (she has no debts she couldn't' clear if she wanted to)

I bought everyones gifts in the sales in January/feb time. So if paying full price hers would come to around £40 admittedly only came to around £13 but still, jsut goes to show its worth being organized extremely early..lol.
She would have got me the airer I wanted, but with postage costs came to well over the £40 mark, so will be saving for that.
