Good evening everyone! I've been busy doing everything apart from flying today. I managed two treatments one and a half handed and both clients were really happy and insisted paying me full price. Best of it is my hand doesn't hurt at all. I'm having tomorrow off and doing two more on Saturday. I've booked quite a few in for after my holidays....I can't wait to work properly again....it's been so, so, so, so long.

Anyway, this has left me feeling quite positive so I have a plan (DH is worried). My aim is to pay off the extra mortgage by April as i've said before but i'm really going to pull every penny into paying it off. I've cashed in my £2 and 20p pig and i'm taking money out of paypal from quidco earnings. I'm going to be a complete tight wad! When that's paid then i'll save for a caravan.

Hope everyone is well and happy. Hugs to all. I'll catch up on the thread this evening xx

Sounds like a great plan Mudbath.

Glad that the treatments seem to be going well and that your hand isn't hurting.

I am trying to pay of our visa bills. £10 and £20 soon mount up. I don't really know where the money goes to sometimes as this week apart from going to Mr T and spending £50 (food and stuff) . I have spent £1.50 on ice-cream for the kiddies.

I have plans and hope they will work but want to make sure that I have spending money for holiday as I don't want to be putting it on the card as then I kNOW I will spend more and not be as money conscious.

Then I want to pay off the visa card and then I want to save for the extension and * mumofjusttwo voices fades into the distance as she realises she is just rattling a long list of things she wants to do and will probably never achieves *

Oops - didn't make it on here in time for a HHC today :o But I have done my shopping, made a huge vege chilli and frozen 3 lots, done a load of washing, changed the bedding and aired the bedroom and duvet.

Oh, and dozed on the sofa for an hour (ish!) :o

Can I be excused from turning the mattress as I have enough problems with that without the addition of a broken arm?

Now going to put my stuff on ebay - could take a while!!

So had to scrub mum's kitchen floor and it's around 20 feet long! My DB lives with her but he's a bloke and doesn't see dirt. Are they all the same?

    Jackie

yes they are - cos if they (males) admitted to seeing dirt then they'd have to shift it. They spot it on/in their cars though;)

And there was me thinking I had done really well applying second coat of emulsion to DS's room and mowing a lawn. Ho hum. Oh I took DD to a carpet place to look at, and get estimates for, a new bedroom carpet. She is so desperate for one she has asked for one for xmas! Bless! so that's her sorted then:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ;););) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

She is cut from entirely different cloth from her (idle) brother. Don't know why! She helped with the emulsioning too. I'm not going to let her leave home...she can clean...cook...decorate...iron...and work the sky zapper:rotfl: :rotfl: (I can manage it sometimes!)

Well, apart from swishing the bathroom in the morning, changing the bedding and hoovering everywhere, my house is now clean and tidy ready for my M-i-L arriving tomorrow.

Thanks for the inspiration and tips guys.

    evening all

no flying at all here though i was quite proud of myself as i managed to wash up before work! I will be doing my now usual weekend clean through. really want to get back to proper flying and doing a bit each day - there's no reason why not now cos DH is studying in the evenings and i could easily do the lists. that's gonna be my plan for next week! :D

we've just had a think and realised we can manage another week without a big shop which will mean we've done a month on a 2 week shop :) which we need as the cc bills are sky high this month cos of house and car ins!

michelle - have a great break, it will be fine.
tooti & valli - completely agree with the others
    welcome to all the newbies.

anyway, DH has finished the washing up, I am going to put my pjs on, eat some ben & jerries and watch an opera on tv as he's taking the night off studying- YAY!
