I don't think I can keep this up.. we have so much to do in thsi hovel it is starting to invade my head.. normally I think right.. this next.. and ther eis just so much I can't... time to focus I think...

Step 1... book a holiday for hubby and all the children and pay someoen to do everything that needs doing!!!

Last night we were discussing what we are doing NOW in the house and ended up redecorating half the house and rebuilding one room.. replacing a fire and ripping up the hall floor... it is getting a little overwhelming!!

Ooh.. not only did I wash the 2 filthy filthy filthy windows.. I also..

Washed ALL the downstairs skirtings, radiators (inc the one with rabbit pee on) all the doors, the dado in the hallway AND the outside of the front door and posh window above.. and it is REALLY high and I did right to the top I did not allow my absolute terror to take over.. I went all the way up to the 5th rung on the step ladders!!!

I will be brave one day!!

Valli - hugest hugs, I'm with you and Tia - I worked from 13 (paperround) then sweetshop and continued without a break (in lots of different jobs) until I had DS1, when people wondered why I hadn't gone straight back to work I felt like saying because I've had a job for 14 years I want a break! Lots of kids today get it too easy, is he old enough to switch jobs if he doesn't like the paper round? It could be a good lessson, you don't like your job then you find a different one you don't just stop working.

He's not old enough to do anything other than a paper round yet - and it's only once a week! Our local free paper. I did a round 6 nights a week!

he has been told - in no uncertain terms - no work no money.

Nice to know so many of you agree! Mind you - I guess I knew you'd be on my side - because there's nobody on this thread who is idle!
