Please try to decide what really would be a disaster (ie no meds which are required) and try to not worry about the rest. I know that is easy to say but from experience it really is not worth it.
Think i was having a panic attack - not helped by DS1 being a monkey and ds2 crying non-stop unless i was holding him. I hate feeling so out of control.
I'm a few steps closer anyhow, and just discovered i need to arrange some money juggling as we have totally overspent on CC this month, and now i'll need to sort some money from savings to pay for it - about £650 which is more than the cost of the sofa bed - and that is before any holiday spends. Best not go to bad i think.
Is it just me still boiling? I am struggling in this heat0 -
Pigpen-go and eat something.
My children seem to graze all day AND want breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Have to say with regards to being organised for holiday I try and remember everything but know I will always forget something. Last time it was the video camera charger (quite upsetting really as we were in Florida) but i know that I will have a good time. whatever. Ironically once we have left i think 'oh well, can't do anything about it now'.

Michelle,
Have you tried a sling for DS2? Taylor is 7 months now and I still sling him in the day if he is being whingy and won't settle. Have just ordered a back sling, as he's getting too heavy to wear on my front now.
Try not to stress too much about the jobs. This is meant to be a holiday for all of you. If it gets too much for you DH will just have to muck in when he gets home xDebts May 09 [strike]£100 Od[/strike], [strike]£1550 boiler[/strike], [strike]£1750[/strike] £400 credit card  Goal - to 3k of savings by Oct 2009 in time for Baby num 2 :j Total so far £12000 -

What doesn't get done won't be being done - DH is working really late tonight, so probs not home until 1 or 2am, and we need to leave in the morning.
Like you have all said, what i don't have, tough. If it is anything too essential we will have to buy it - i'm sure there are plenty of shops in Devon0 -
I am sure that you will have a great time. Might be worth googling where you are staying and see where you local Tesco/Asda etc might be and their opening times. Save you going round in circles trying to find it.
Well of course that is if you can find time.
Have a great time. I love Devon.January Grocery 11/3740 -

Am I allowed a cuppa before I start doing dinner and hit the next stint??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
:hello:
Hi all, hope all is well in flying land.
Well so far i have done 3 hhc, 2 loads of washing, made a crazy amount of sandwiches and prepared tea for later.
I do have a pile of ironing but no point starting now as little gremlin will be awake soon. 3 Older gremlins gone to nana's for an hour:D . My mil keeps insisting on doing my ironing, (sounds ungrateful now) only thing is i normally hang as i go now i have a pile of folded clothes that i have not had chance to put away yesterday or today because by the time i seen to the kids and then fed little gremlin its his nap time. AND AND she puts tram lines in the shirt sleeves. Also getting me down, i bought i new iron a steam generator one. She had a massive skit at the cost but yet insists on using that one not the old one when she does iron:rolleyes: I do not go out, i don't drink i spend no money unless i want to:rotfl:, its nowt to do with her what i spend but she still hasn't got that.
I have also been monitering our electric usage, i now have it down to between 10 and 12 units a day which is brilliant because this time 18 months ago it was 33, i then managed to get it down to 18 so this is real good.
I was supposed to be finishing work but have now decided to stay on for a while, i retracted my notice last night much to the amusement of my boss (very lucky he could have been annoyed). I actually don't mind going to work i have a very easy job and work on my own, there are only 3 of us so its very personable and you know no one is stabbing you in the back. I will only be doing 3 evenings.
PIGPEN enjoy ya cuppa?
Michelle, tis not so bad, breathhhhhhhh. I do honestly believe it does get easier. Once little ones hit about 2 1/2 to 3 at least you don't have to tie them down or watch their every move. What doesn't get done won't make you holiday a bad one. If your stressing so much sit down have 5 and write a priority list. Once the priorities are done then anything after that is a bonus. Also about the sling idea, i did this with ds1 he cried all the time but i still had to get jobs done so carried him all day. I also ended up with a washoard stomach. (Good job is was not ds2 i would have ended up with curvature of the spine:D  )
Lindsay C Welcome to flylady land xx
Right it tea time.
Will be back tonight i really really need motivation for tonight girls pleassssse. Oh back tomorrow and i would like to acheive lots, so i am not cleaning all weekend as i usually am. PIGPEN poking with a feather duster will only hurt and make me want to sit down  :rotfl:
:wave:You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0
