So go on who has rain today? It has just started here so washing still sitting by the door. I wanted to take DS2 to practise his dirtboarding and collect blackberries with DS3 but I'm not going in the rain.
It's raining here in Derbys. Never rained yesterday though it was forecast but we've got it now. Mum has phoned to take me to Focus (she gets 10% off :T ) so Iam looking for the extra energy to get the DS room painted.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning ladies,
Just caught up on about 4 pages of the thread cos I didn't go back online yesterday after my last post, cos I kept getting sidetracked, and ended up watching TV after lunch. Ebony made my day though cos he actually jumped up on my lap and curled up and went to sleep for a whole 2 hours, so when OH came home, I demanded a drink, as I hadn't the heart to get up and disturb him. Ebony has his own little sofa (a footstool) which he normally sleeps on, and he hasn't slept on my lap since he was a kitten (he's 4 now).
I hope that you had a good birthday SSL, and I'm glad that your mum's funeral went well kazw.
Rach if you want a quicker choc mousse (technically a ganache) you can always make it the way I do - you need a 100g bar of dark choc (I use value stuff as it actually has more cocoa solids in) and a small tub of single cream. Break up the chocolate and put the cream and choc in a pan, and stir until it starts to thicken. Stick in the fridge and leave to set for a couple of hours - extremely rich, so you may only need an espresso cup full, although I'm a piggy and manage 1/2 a cereal bowl. I got this recipe from BlackSaturn's thread that she posted on here last year.
Right, off to find today's list then, to wash my hair, and get dressed. Have a doctor's appointment at 4.10, so aim to get everything done before I leave.

We lose many irreplaceable hours brooding over grievances that, in a year's time, will be forgotten by us and by everybody. No, let us devote our life to worthwhile actions and feelings, to great thoughts, real affections and enduring undertakings."
So you're not planning on flying today then Dusty:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Forget the stupid quote kids are driving me senseless. Why are teenagers so lazy, selfish, rude and grumpy. I never knew how much those feeling of besotted love you have for babies could change. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
