  • Right - I'm back! I had a lovely day yesterday - went to Troon beach and had fish and chips in the sun. Feel the sea air has helped blast the cobwebs from me! Ended up a little worse for wear with everyone talking to the early hours of the morning! Have dropped them off to the station and I'm back to bombsite of a flat!

So, my list for today (including the ones missed yesterday..)
Monday Melee - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Clear 1 window sill
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
    Scrub out the sticky fridge!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Clean out your mankiest kitchen cupboard..
    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. Clean the hob
    2. Phone someone you love just to tell them so!

Ok I now know the answer to my own question, so that when they leave home you are not heartbroken and are really ready for it.

Going to dry my hair then pop and check on holiday neighbours house - should be back for HHC at 11:30
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

OOh there's a HHC starting now - does it matter that I've just stepped out of the shower?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Forget the stupid quote kids are driving me senseless. Why are teenagers so lazy, selfish, rude and grumpy. I never knew how much those feeling of besotted love you have for babies could change.

When they are teenagers there are lots of times when you still really love them but you don't actually like them very much. Luckily (at least for me) when they are older they become more likeable again ;)
