Like you'd ever be without her!

How is that sis of yours doing? I've not seen her about for a while!

There are times when I would happily be without her, but I'd want her back a bit later ;) I'm lost when she goes away. :o

My sis is doing okay, she's really busy though with the baby (who is a real giggler and sooooo cute :D) and uni work and everything else.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Are you getting a bursary because of the course you are doing? And they pay your childcare? How did you manage that!

I think it's cos DH makes oh so just under £15'000, and I don't work so I get a bursary! Actually I can also work and still get my bursary as of last year!!! SO long as it is not during class time or study time (which they say should be doen in the college). I wasn't expecting to get it to be honest, I could have managed just if they paid childcare. But I get both. I really really should have done this years ago, but I'm glad I'm doing it now, I'm older and wise enough to really want it, I've had my kids, they are still young enough that I can have fun with my free weekends and school holidays and I will still be there at home when they are. By the time I get my degree (and gosh darn it, I'm going for a fricken degree) they will be at school and old enough that I will be happy to focus on me career.

It's a full time day course.

I think we are just very very lucky here and I am taking advantage of it while it's still available.

I have even made the huge decision of what I am going to study. Prosthetics and Orthotics. I want to really focus on Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome in babies). I want to be able to have a degree behind me to fight the good fight.

Been researching this all night and Plagiocephaly will be my main focus, however I go about it.

    I'm all excited! LOL! :j
  • Hi ladies,

Just catching up on all your posts. Haven't done much flying tonight. I'm out tomorrow so will have to add my Tuesday list to Wednesdays. Will catch up with the thread tomorrow night as I am at mums all day, and evening. My brother got married abroad and his wife is arriving tomorrow, and there's a welcoming party at mums.
So I'm off to bed as feeling exhausted.
    Good night, sleep tight XxX
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:

    Morning all

Got up to about page 10 so:

Rach - hope DH had a lovely birthday yesterday.
Mudbath - sorry to read about the finger problems... As you seem to be breaking easily have you asked about osteoporosis tests? Just to be on the safe side?

Will catch up with the rest tonight. Didn't read last night as I had the dentist (check up - nothing needed doing which is nice :D) then when I got home, I needed to speak to BT about my internet connection fees. By the time I'd spoken to about 15 different people from various parts of the world and achieved nothing, I'd almost lost the will to live....

I will try calling them again from work today - wish me (or rather my colleagues!) luck please.

Right, bath, get dressed, go to work

Oh dear, Im not doing very well im afraid. I just cant seem to get a minute when the kids are about.

I dont know how some of you manage it, care to share your secret?

I look at my house, and am so ashamed, if I could just get a day to myself I know I could catch up.

Oh well, if I just get a S&S in the kitchen today I will be doing well. Working today, so I wont get much done at all.

    Jackie
