Too thick for HW :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm applying to Queen Margaret to do Consumer Studies. I spoke to the course co-ordinator today and they will take me in at 3rd year. So I only need to do a year and thats me got my degree. Even better, I should be able to work around the course, as the taught time is approx 12 hours a week. Obviously, studying time on top of that. But hey, I'm a flylady, I can organise my time :D

B****y hell - I'm well impressed! Nice one SSL - one year to do a degree!:T

Yeah!!!! :j Great choice! We get free education up here so you amy as well go for it while it's still free!

Lets see, I'm 27 finish the NC course when I'm 28, 29 for the HNC then to get my BSc degree if I choose to do it, is a 3 year course (though I could enter into 2nd year from my HNC), so 31 or 32 when thats done, then there is an optional fourth year for honours... so I could be 33 by the time I get my degree.

Actually wow.... my kids would be 12 and 9. Actually, that would be a good age for me to go back to work! :rotfl:

Go for it, I'll be 39 when I qualify (hopefully) as a nurse, next year. You won't be the oldest there either. [STRIKE]What are you going to do?[/STRIKE]

Edit: Ignore the last bit, I've read the rest of the thread now.

Ok, day 1 and I think the toughest thing I did was read through all today's posts!! How do you keep up with them and still do the flying?!!

    Anyway, I have:

    - cleaned and wiped kitchen surfaces
    - cleaned the hob
    - cleaned the oven shelves
    - cleaned cupboard doors

and am feeling quite pleased with myself considering it's usually an effort just to get myself up, showered and dressed!!

This list is so encouraging - thanks for all the welcomes :T

Oooooh i've just had a recorded voice phonecall to tell me i've won a holiday to Florida......yeah, right!!!

DH putting lots of stuff from the children's room and our room into the attic. Our 'winter' project is to clear the loft of carp, floor it, carpet it and make it into a giant area to play. So, train set...weebles (from when I was a kid) and lots of board games are going up....much less clutter in the house xx

Oooh nice annual dose of nits dusty...mine haven't had them, mind you, i've not checked for a while! How many of us are now sitting here scratching our heads! This caps lock is driving me mad. I keep using my banadaged little finger without thinking and it's too wide so the caps lock goes on. I'll stop rambling! xx
