glad to see you've all been getting on
I'll have any cake and cuppas that are going as i didn't manage starbucks in the end (saved some money at least!)
bit annoyed as jessops screwed up my photos which were for part of DH's present, but i stupidly didn't check before i got home. not happy. they've cut the feet off the giraffe on the photo i got blown up to 10x8 (see my facebook for the pics). anyway, i've put it in the frame (bargain £3.60 from debenhams) and will just explain to DH that we'll have to get the photo printed again.
meat sauce for lasagne is done, does anyone know if i can make white sauce in the microwave - usually use a pan but i have a feeling it can be done in the mw.
better quickly wrap presents up and get dinner finished, DH will be home by 6!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Always make my white sauce in the MW
I use milk, cornflour, season (S&P) pop in butter/marg, micro full 2 mins, Take it out, stir, then keep zapping it for 1 min at a time until it's done!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
