I've got some good news! Our interest free credit card was due to end in September (the one with house repairs etc on it). DH decided to phone them and ask for an extention...he said he was fed up of me being the one to get all the deals from on here. They've said that if we add £500 to it we can have interest free on the lot until April 2009 which is when we want to pay it off by. We've studied the small print and there isn't a catch apart from the £500 has to be a balance transfer. So, mum and dad want to buy some furniture. They've giving us the cash, we're buying it on a tesco card to get points and then transferring the balance. Don't you get devious after a while!!!

Yeah thanks to Piggers - I was straight onto Carphonewharehouse - I am still feeling I am pulling a fast one when I get cashback - as opposed to just 'shopping smart'
