:BTW, provided you keep them under an hour, you could also make free weekend UK 01/02/03 calls on BT (i.e. with the 1280 prefix) and, being 'inclusive' calls, they would also count as qualifying calls for free Caller Display.
Thanks Heinz, for the Primus info but not sure on the above - Surely you need to to register with BT on a 12minth contract for "Unlimited E & WE Plan" ie free we/eve and then wouldn't need to override?0 -

If you are on the BT "Unlimited E & WE Plan" you do not have to override to get the free caller display as you will make inclusive calls through BT but you still may want to override it to get cheaper 084 numbers and daytime calls.0 -
ICBW, but I thought they had to be chargeable calls?
No inclusive count, they had to refund me last month.

The impression i got from Heinz post no 30 ,was he was only pointing out you could also use the Free Weekend Geographical Calls that you get if your on the lowest BT Call Package to qualify for free caller display.
You may not want to register for BT Free Evening and Weekend Calls with BT.
If you dont want a 12 month contract. (No contract with Primus)
If you would like to be able to talk for longer without redialling.(90 minutes on Primus 60 on BT).
If you would like to cap your mobile calls to 20p for up to 20 minutes anytime. (Primus Free Bolt On Penny Mobile offers this).
If anyone needs a geographical number to ring out of your inclusive minutes to qualify for free caller display their is always the Speaking Clock on 01798 808 111.:D0 -

Darn and I dial 123 that costs more.
I will have to look at the Orchid to programe that number in.0 -
There's also 020 7043 1320 which I use from time to time. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

I have just received my letter from BT about the changes to the various CPS providers charging and thanks to those posted above for helping me get right up to speed on this.
Has any one complained to Ofcom on this issue? Should we write in? I think so as it seems to be the case that CPS providers can start charging and not having to inform customers of this happening.
I realise there might be some skepticism out there about the point of doing that but.......if we remain silent then our silence will confirm they are doing a good job by inference......which they are not......
Many thanks, Neil Good.0 -
Am I right in thinking that if you want to transfer a SKY maintained SKY TALK line back to a BT rental line maintained by BT, then BT can charge a full reconnection fee (£124.99) or £29.99 if you agree to keeping the line for 18 months and some other t&cs?
I am unclear: is it likely to be possible to use 18185 on a SKY TALK line maintained by SKY?0 -
Does anyone know when BT changed the quota to 6 calls per quarter (2 a month) to get free caller display? PLUS I see 1571 is subject to the same!!! I must have been asleep when that was announced!0
